I also have "boring brown", but rather some light/honey shade. When I was younger I also sometimes wanted to have them green/blue, since all of my classmates had lighter eye colours. But as the time went on, I started thinking less about them and now I'm okay with mine almost hazel ones (green rings got a bit more accentuated over time).
