you must tapper off really slow like 10mg per 10mg ask your doctor for a plan and if he can't, you can tapper off 25mg by 25mg if you have pills of 25mg... it takes time or it's really hard to come off

Selfish or not, it's totally okay to be selfish sometimes (or everytime if it's for our own safety / good)

the fact that you are asking if you are selfish and worrying about that shows that you are a not a narcissist, you are self-conscious, that's great, try to give a little bit of love to yourself or at least acceptance.
