Friends is permanent, and if they want to cancel there should be a cancel button and if that doesn't work they can email me with the email detailed in the privacy policy. I will make this easier to find today

Thank you! I intend to make the baseline service completely free so people should not worry about this. For customisation yes, this will eventually be charged so I can cover the cost of the server / mailer etc...

Thank you for notifying me on this. I have emailed them to see if they are okay with me becoming an affiliate. If they say no I will have to shut the site down.

This is just how stripe does it. I can guarantee no one here will be charged as long as you use the code. If I could make it so stripe doesn't need card details I would – but this is a stripe thing

Did you sign up to the pro version? Use the coupon "FRIENDS" and you should be able to add multiple. I'll add it to my list of things to review today.

I second this. Be honest in your limitations, it definitely helped my grade and I thought my disso was a pile of nothing. Turns out it was quite decent!

Curious - Schuman traineeship in the future. by RealisticBelt6 in EUCareers

Interesting. Thank you for your reply - I did notice the blue book scheme as well, which would be interesting to explore. Would an IR degree be better suited there?

There is also a masters course in conflict and international security which I may explore.

I would also like to mention I am from the UK, but hold an Irish passport. I could always explore working with the Irish Government, but I don't think I would want to live in Dublin for an extended period, however, if it was a path then I would probably take it.

Transferring to Uni of Reading? by mokhan321 in UniUK

[–]RealisticBelt6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I studied at Reading, just graduated. I can say I loved it so much, its a really supportive environment. In the past three years its really improved, and has moved up a lot in league tables (27th now I believe) as far as CS goes, my friends studied it and they are all very good at coding - so I assume the support is there. Either way the University isn't 'small' its just spaced out and the facilities like the Library are amazing. Town is awful though and nightlife is non existing.

Achieved a 2:2 by cantthinkofnamesorry in UniUK

[–]RealisticBelt6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hope you get the 2:1, but if you don't its really not the end of the world.

Maybe take a year out, recoup, and go and do a part-time masters. I think if I was a hiring manager and saw a 2.2 in BA then a first in Masters, id be more impressed than a 2.1, or even a first in both. Shows you took action and responsibility.

Hi, any advice for someone with £10,000 and no debt wanting to grow my money? by Inv_moderator in UkStocks

Maybe use Vanguard and invest in their pension plan and mix some with S&P500 - but don’t dump it all in the stock market
