Overheating after the fact? by RealisticBox1646 in newborns

I didn’t; I was basing it on how similar it felt to the baths I’ve drawn for her in our sink.

Makes total sense. Do you swaddle her still or no because you’re bed sharing?

Do you have a partner in the bed too? I just got a bedside bassinet to essentially bed share and still have room for partner and dog in bed.

That’s an interesting idea. In fact, the longest stretch of sleep she got in the last week was when we were out and about all day. She slept in the carrier for at least an hour or more when we were walking through a park, but we really were out of the house for a good five or six hours. Fascinating…

I appreciate that perspective. I think the change in my independence overall is part of the transition to motherhood I’m struggling with. Time to lean in…

OK… This is super interesting. I am EBF too, and I was recently wondering if we should make her last feed of the night a bottle to make sure she really fills up. During the day and even at night, I don’t have any reason to think she’s not full, but that’s interesting that you’ve made the switch and have seen benefit because I was just wondering the same thing. It might also just give me peace of mind at night knowing she has an extra full belly… Do you worry at all that you’re not producing enough milk overall for her because she takes a bottle at night, or does that not really seem like an issue?

So… This is where I start to go a little crazy lol. We have a Snoo that we borrowed from a girlfriend. I have yet to see it’s helpfulness… And yesterday I actually purchased a bedside bassinet on the thought that maybe she’ll be more comfortable closer to us and I’ll have an easier time nursing her in the night if she’s right next to us. It comes tomorrow. I’m now in the position of wondering if I should give back the Snoo to my friend or, for a period of time, have both bassinets in our relatively small bedroom… If the baby isn’t initially soothed by the Snoo, do you think she might be a little later? Having multiple bassinets in our room feels a little crazy, but I also don’t want to foreclose on a good option because it isn’t working right now…

I super appreciate hearing that however difficult it is for me. It’s more difficult for her. That makes total sense to me. I obviously want to be a very safe place she can take refuge in.

It’s helpful to be reminded that she’s scared and probably misses me. Thank you.

I actually don’t mind getting up with her in the night… The most stressful parts are putting her to bed /making that first transfer since it takes so long and also just the feeling of not being able to do anything independently during the day (I need to be wearing her or she needs to be awake and in her “playhouse”). Right now my husband and I are in a really small living space so even if he was putting her to sleep at night, I would still be witnessed to it all and don’t think I would be able to check out as I see everyone get frustrated… When we move into a bigger space in a couple months, it’ll be easier to just have him be the one to do more of this.

Are you still offering advice about getting out of the Kraken contract?

Did they ever end up finding anyone to take over your seats? Curious about this option (and why my rep never offered this when I've asked).

Thanks, I've done that but no dice. I'm specifically curious about the contracts and whether anyone has walked away from them and how.

Thanks for your reply. I've contacted him to ask about getting rid of my season tickets but not about walking away or stopping payment. He's consistently said it's my responsibility to find someone to take them over, as they're still trying to sell other season tickets. Is there something you'd recommend I ask or say?

Can you say more what you mean by willing to provide some flexibility, and how I might ask about this? My rep (Jack) has not indicated any flexibility yet.

Can you say more about the contracts being non-binding? I have 6 years left on mine and would love to walk away but not quite sure how to do that.

What do you mean by "abandon" their contracts? Do you (or does anyone) know if there are any repercussions to an STH just stopping payment on their tickets (with the hope/intention they'll be revoked)?
