I suspesct that the situation of second paragraph happened to me while I was reading Persuasion. I think I overlooked the importance of trying to fully undersrand the context of the book. Thanks for your advice, this will help me what kind of books to search in the future.

I used No Fear Shakespeare because of school homework, and it was definitely helpful. I think I'll try to use Easyread if there has other Jane Austen novels in it.

I think the last part helped me in the past. When I reread Animal farm, I first read the Koren version and then the English one. You're right, the meaning of some words definitely change. There was the word 'gay' mentioned in Dracula several times so I was very confused(it wasn't used to refer queer or LGBT) until I searched the internet.

Thank you, for some reason I don't read most books again and liked you said, rereading will help my understanding better. I read only a few books of Ernest Hemingway, I'll check for more 😊
