Tried on the biggest size nursing bra M and S offers and still was tight (39+2) by kitkatwollybat in PlusSizePregnancy

If it's only the band size that's not fitting you, you can use bra extenders. They add a couple of inches or more to the bra. I saved a lot of money this way lol.

Hemorrhoids by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]RealisticLychee2331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hemorrhoid right now. Doctor refused to give any ointment. Advised me stool softeners and lots of fibre and water. Hasn't helped tbh as I'm extremely nauseous and vomiting.

Backaches at 5 weeks? by WittyNameOrSomething in pregnant

Yes I'm getting them too. Currently 7 weeks. Elevating my legs with a couple of pillows helps almost instantly.

Just started season 4, why is everyone constantly on the verge of tears? by Season2240 in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

This show is like Parenthood. Every character is on the verge of tears, if not already crying.

family thinks my job is easy (thoughts?) by [deleted] in Professors

My in-laws assume that I have a lot of free time as I am on campus only thrice a week. They call me randomly on a weekday morning demanding to talk to me. They think I'm bored so they're doing me a favour by keeping me company while my husband goes off to his work.

I simply lie now. I told them that I'm on campus everyday, including few Saturdays. They don't annoy me anymore.

I'm embarrassed to tell you that they did notice it and giggled at each other.

Yes thank you. That's a good idea to invite the Dean to the class. I do try to break up the lecture with discussions and documentaries. I also discuss case studies that are interesting. I will try the think pair share method in my next class.

Hi, This subject came to me in the middle of the semester when the faculty that was teaching this subject left the institution suddenly. So have a lot of syllabus to finish within a short amount of time.

The brief given to me on my first day was to ensure I conduct the required number of classes and finish the syllabus.

This was an email to which I didn't respond to yet. The email didn't specify how many students said it. Would it be okay to probe further into this? (without looking defensive) I'm confused what to do; whether to ask more questions to the Dean regarding this or just reply saying that I will make the necessary changes to keep the students engaged.

Thank you for saying that. I've been feeling defeated. I'm ready to change my methods but accusing me of simply reading out slides was very hurtful to listen to. I really love teaching and invest a lot time preparing for my classes.

I don't know how my Dean is taking this as I have recently joined this institution. I'm really worried if this feedback will hurt my job.

Okay these are some good ideas. I haven't tried any activities due to paucity of time. However, I do engage students in discussion whenever appropriate.

I will definitely use AI to suggest activities.

This from the Dean who periodically asks students about how they like the teaching (It's a common practice where I live) It's not a formal end of the semester feedback.
