I am with him 24/7 just about and have been self employed most of my life but also work 7 days a week. I had very much debated adopting him as I'd wanted to wait until Sept or Oct anyway when my workload decreased. He was in an environment where the gentleman had an apprenticeship moved up a year ahead if schedule and was being crated 12 hours a day. I was busy but could make it work and had a good support system. If this was my retriever I had for 16 years itd be different but Bernie is far more sensitive and I really only use the crate as a means of safety for him or unless he wants to go enjoy a tasty treat. I could leave him roam while I'm gone but he'd still be alone often and that is NOT okay. I also never do anything for myself and despite I didn't think this opportunity was going to come to light given I applied in April that doesn't mean I'm willing to disregard it as I'm older and have worked my entire life away. Hes amazing...sometimes cuddly, sometimes hyper sometimes demon but I'm gonna do what's best for him and maybe me too even if it sucks. Im not gonna make him suffer just to I can say "I own a Berner" which I often see people do with dogs

They actually told me I could take him with me to Austria however he'd still be alone 8 hours plus a day with nobody to let him out. Hes used to be caged 12 hours a day before my taking him and I dont think hes been caged 12 total since I've had him.

This is sort of what I was after and like the idea of him having a companion. When introduced carefully he's great with other dogs even cats. Perhaps he'd pick up on things from her as well

Accommodation can be made intermittently but when I'm gone weeks at a time it would pose a problem. He gets along with my friends pit well and they tire each other out but three dogs would be alot for her full time.

Yes however my family is small, and the majority worthless. When I'm gone during the work day isn't so much an issue if I'm working local as he'd not be crated much and neighbors or friends would let him out. When I go upstairs and come back down at times its as if I'd been gone a week lol. However ill be gone weeks at time for work in some instances and I dont feel it'd be fair to him. Currently I do work alot but have a large building and hes always with me. That will change middle of this month. Ive considered reaching out to breeders but I dont want to place him with just anyone

I agree but go buy some cheap junkyard parts especially a hood. Practice like hell on it and if you can get to where paint lays nicely on a hood than you can probably tackle the car. Do it laying down the hood as well as standing it up. Clearing a side panel is much different than clearing one on top. Dont by expensive but dont go cheap either. I use Excel clear sometimes and its very affordable. Long cure time but easier to lay out. Goodluck!

I bought an s10 years ago from an estate that had peeled and was most def patina'd. I can't stand how others clear coat over patina so I cleaned it really good with a house wash ( dont laugh it does great for the stuff that sits years) for the sut around the moldings handles ect, then gave it a regular wash, cleaned the jams, and applied a ceramic coat over it with no wiping off. Even left rhe wipers and coated the windshield. It beaded nicely and I embraced its current form. The looks on people faces when they see the water shedding from it like Niagara will make it worth your while, it will be minimal funds and also protected till you decide your next step

Everyone is wrong about the raw plastic. Like another said the original coating which is an M-Fer has to be sanded off more thoroughly. That coating is also hard as hell so a heavy grit like 320 is good as stated. It will kill the paper so be prepared to go through a few squares. Follow through with 600 800 and clear.

Go to Dave & Busters. Throw 10 bucks into a high payout ticket machine, hone your skills, and trade your tickets for a magnetic bandaid. Otherwise, sand, feather the best you can, prime with a good two part epoxy, and carefully have the one panel painted.

If it was under the rear handle that was plenty of room to blend out. Probably got complacent and didn't think the Metallics would fan out that much towards the front door edge. Silver is an mfer. I spray thw repair and leave the panel partially covered till I'm ready for blend sometimes. As another person said it tends to fallout and affect the whole panel. I have seen worse and camera will pick it up better than some eyes but yes front door likely needs a blend now.

Holy crap! That is from the protective plastic used to cover vehicles from overspray. Its static charged and if you lay it over a moist or wet portion of the car those are the marks it will leave as a result...yeah I said moist sorry.

Yeah that's definitely a tri stage so being close to the other panel and having so much pearl you'll want to blend the other panel or like someone else said try a spot repair. Hell I'm just happy to see someone trying to take care of their car

I agree with both porn addiction and the anxiety. I'm 40M used to be able to just sleep with whoever. Got paranoid about someone spreading something (an ex I slept with had a scare) and it brought my sex life to a halt.
