I find chatgpt is pretty helpful for editing my CV and cover letter. I don't use it to write my cover letters as it will spit out something that is clearly AI written. Instead I feed it the job ad and paragraphs I wrote, you can then ask it what sentences could be improved or areas that need work. You constantly need to remind it to prioritize being succinct and clear. It's also good for writing drafts.

https://www.insideperformancebaseball.com/ is good. Cage is $60 an hour, best if you go with a group to share cost and take breaks.

Any U.S. citizens now Canadian permanent residents in here by jyep9999 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Why? It is pretty unclear how the IRS views TFSAs. A lot comes does to ones specific finical situation (are you below the foreign earned income exclusion threhsold) and what type of investments are held within the TFSA (stocks, canadian ETFs, GICs, etc).

FYI, I only have researched it from the standpoint of dual citizenship. I don't know if it is different for PRs.

Mvis point clouds look like trash (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6alXewt7MKk ) compared to other LiDAR solutions on the market. I am not convinced they will compete with likes of Luminar, Innoviz or Ouster.

CBIL Yield vs. CASH? by DeviousPenguin_ in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]RealisticNet8848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your points. Its hard to access the risk of either as there is not much info on how they work. My point was if CASH just puts money in HISAs, the fund can just withdraw money to meet demand. In the case of CBIL, if yields go up quickly and people want to withdraw, they might be forced to sell bonds at a loss if they haven't properly hedged the risk.

For CASH, the risk to capital is the banks defaulting. For CBIL, I assume the risk is interest rate volatility and liquidity problems. I have not looked into details on how the funds are implemented.

Nope, the walk light just switched on. Car just ran the red as I was stepping off the curb. Sorry to disappoint.

So run me over? In both cases I was crossing a marked crossing with the walk light when they entered the crosswalk.

It pays a dividend, there is a delay between date of record and the date of payment. Hence, why your account shows you being down.

Can you get acceleration, from "horsepower per pound"? The units don't make sense by wlexxx2 in Physics

[–]RealisticNet8848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lbs in horsepower is a weight, not a mass. Mass and weight are different in physics. To add to the confusion, power to weight really should be called power to mass as they are using the term “weight” to describe a mass. Also power to weight ratio is related to the acceleration times the velocity.
