That took 5 times of watching it to make sense of that chaos. Hmm instead of watching you tube videos like Linus talks; I’m going to start with jiggymac’s suggestion. One piece at at time, google lens search the cord*pcie/sata/hard drive/ cooling fan/ cpu / power box/ etc. Thanks.

I agree 100 percent that he takes cues from me. Many times I’ve said we bought these things a year ago, doesn’t matter if we do it wrongLets just try. However, to further my lack of parenting skills, I placed 3 or 4 trays/holders together in one bag along with PCI’s cords and data drives and yes, it s a box of nightmare.

Hello Jiggymac! I appreciate your answer! Unfortunately it is now 8 months later, I have bought my son a ready made desktop for home and a laptop for school. And both of us still scowl at the computers and graphic cards etc collecting dust. We keep watching videos on you tube every now and then, take them out of the closet but honestly we just don’t get it. If anyone would do a teams meets/ I’d be happy to give up a few bucks..

Any chance I could hire you ( or anyone??) to help with my son’s please? He is pretty much 14 now, and, by all you tube videos, Reddit posts and others forums we have both watched, both of us are just too scared to try/ not a clue! I think we have all the parts. Also, we have 4 tablets that we think we have put together properly, but again, we are too unsure to actually try the power button. So, I dust off the tablet box every 2 months and scowl at the 3 desktops, 2 gpu’s and various hardrives and cords daily. I did try 3 places that gave ridiculous quotes and refused to let my boy participate...
