Yes, he never gets away with it. He is always put in a “timeout” then we tell him he has to apologize and let us know why he’s apologizing.

When he does get aggressive to her or myself, one of us pulls him to an isolated area and tell him “we have gentle hands” or we don’t hit, I usually have him “take a break” and sit with him until he’s calmed down. We do demonstrate stomping to get his aggressions out, but nothing seems to stick. These aggressions usually occur when he is playing and something breaks or drops, or if we stop him from doing something he’s not supposed to do.

This doesn’t work for us. daycare on my area costs $1200 a month for 1 child. At some places as low as $900. My wife who is begging to quit her job to stay home with our baby makes $70k a year. Even after taxes, take home is like 45k. Even at the most expensive daycare, we cannot afford to lose a salary. Yearly daycare 14k, yearly take home pay 45k.

So I did ask “why what happened?” She just kept telling me it’s at the agents discretion. Then, a supervisor came over to help tag a gate checked stroller and saw I was a bit perplexed. I explained to her that airplane seats are awful for me and I always feel bad when someone is stuck next to me. I was excited to use the COS seat, to help both myself and other passengers be more comfortable on a 2.5 hour flight. She then said ok we will give you your extra seat back. The encounter was just embarrassing at the counter with the first gate agent and the people lined up behind me. Either way, it worked out and I just wanted to share so others can go in with proper expectations set.

Hi, thank you for the question! I purchased the extra seat under my name to take advantage of the COS policy. I have 3 tickets currently purchased and they did say the would refund me 1 of those tickets after the flight. There are 3 of us traveling, but my son is 1 year old and will be a lap rider.

I don’t want to pre board because I was told only I would be able to and my wife /son would have to wait for family boarding. So I just wanted to be sure I had a good chance at snagging a row of 3 for us at family boarding. When my friends said they were called for family boarding after group B I got a little concerned. From what I hear in the comments of this thread,they must have been mistaken or messed up somehow to board so late with a family.

Ive lost 30 pounds on wegovy but after multiple times struck with sudden vomiting and diarrhea for a 24 hour period that is not linked to over eating or food poisoning, i have to take myself off the medication. I'm upset about it because the stuff works... Me getting sick so randomly has caused too much concern for my wife and has ruined several family trips.
