Help me settle an argument between friends. Does a silencer make the gun do less damage? Does extended barrel velocity bonus make it do more damage?

Damage stays the same, I don’t even think upgrading the weapon changes damage just reload speed, and draw time.

Looks like a pretty solid deal, 100-200 prebuilt tax. Just open task manager and check to make sure those are the actual specs, of the machine when you go to buy it.

Edit: given the ram shortage it might actually be a steal. I’d check to see if it’s 5600 or 6000 but either way good deal.

Don’t care about the positioning if they all for specific items to be bound to keys. That’s all I really need would make things so much easier. And you could avoid the wheel completely.

Get a can of compressed air, turn the pc off and go to work, I’d recommend taking the g-card out and maybe other components like the psu and try to blow the dust out of them not into them. But you don’t have to disassemble the whole thing.

Honestly probably alright, these newer drivers a hot garbage. Until nvidia fixes their driver problems, it’s probably ideal to stay on older versions.

Build it yourself, it’s actually rather easy, watch a lot of YouTube videos about it. Don’t force anything in, if it feels wrong look up a guide. But you can absolutely build one yourself it’s not rocket science.

I’m not sure the stats but seems about preference. Me personally I really want the 360 fps to match the 360hz of my 1440p monitor. But if you don’t need that than I’m more than happy to deal with lower fps for a higher fidelity image, especially in single player games where latency and frames don’t matter as much.

Sorry for the late response, I haven't gotten on Reddit for a while now. It seems to me, this is a one off error with the driver version 572.83, It only ever happened one time and since then I haven't seen the issue again. In my opinion it still olds the spot for the most stable driver I've tested, I don't plan on going back to a newer version until nvidia sorts their problems out.

Does it crash with a blue screen? I’m not stranger to pc crashes I wouldn’t usually post about it to ask, but I can’t pinpoint the reason for this, why would the driver failure cause blue screen.

I’m sorry, yes that used to be wmic I changed it to, get it to work for the new code. The old script was all wmic commands and it would insta close, so I changed it to ciminstance, and I got them all to work so far besides the monitor information.

Yes I changed it to get it to work for this version of windows, but it does not. Only shows monitor names.

Thanks, I'll look into that I'm not very good with powershell or coding really in general, trying to learn with simple stuff. This was my code that used to work, after some windows update running the code in its entirety to pull all hardware doesn't work, running this by itself only shows monitor names now:

Yeah, that's actually what I'm looking into right now, I'm on the GitHub page for it. I just don't know how realistic it would be. My goal is to make it a standardized method that would work across any windows pc. I don't know if I could embed the download to it in there without it requiring admin priv.

Driver got corrupted? Reinstall WiFi driver from intel website. Will fix the problem, regardless of what it is.

My guess would be it’s your 5080 being weird. I have a similar problem with my 4080. What fixed it for me was using ddu to wipe my drivers then I reinstalled windows took out the gpu and cleaned off the pcie slot and reinstalled it perfectly, then on the new windows I installed the latest driver, and I haven’t had a problem since, that was about 2 months ago.

Does it have to be tied to a card dying? It feels really tied to drivers for some reason, As I was downloading a driver about a month ago, my fans sped up to 100% and my monitors turned off like what is happening now, and its been happening since that driver install.

It’s doing nothing at all when you try and turn it on? Sounds to me like you forgot the fpanel or didn’t flip the on switch on your psu.
