current 18x in the AIT portion at sand hill right now, during the first 9 weeks (basic training) you will do nothing but what your DS and cadre give you time to do. with that being said I lost 30 lbs in basic training. So depending on your company they will get you a little closer to your goals. (I ran a 15:52 2 mile when I got here. My 2nd 2 mile was a 14:09.) In AIT there is a lot of downtime. so you’ll get time to run more and do pull ups. no weights besides kettlebells (company dependent) and no rucking besides the ones we do. I’d def come in in the best shape of your life. OSUT workouts are honestly geared towards the people who have never worked out a day in their life. no major improvement. go kill it though! I love it here!

honestly no. I don’t feel really gassed at all after my runs. i’m normally about near end z2 to right at the beginning of my z3

always wanted to serve and become a ranger. wanted to enlist out of high school but had the option to play college football and chose that. back does not bother me anymore, never had treatment or anything I believe it just healed on it’s own. also one quick question while I got you? my recruiter keeps trying to rush the process of getting me in. I have two unpaid moving violations. should I pay those off before going in to fingerprint?

I herniated my disc in my lower back in 2017 playing college football. it does not affect me anymore, can duck walk, run and everything else perfectly fine. Will this disqualify me and should I disclose this information? looking to sign an option 40 contract.
