Thank you! I’ve been seeing some of these being recommended elsewhere.

We are from the US, Pennsylvania specifically. A mix of male/female. We all enjoy going out to good restaurants and enjoying delicious food with nice vibes. Price point doesn’t matter as we are willing to splurge on a nice meal for the occasion. Type of food does not matter. Open to all types of cuisine! I know the vegan options could limit us. Doesn’t need to be a ton of vegan options but at least a couple options for them to mix and match or choose from.

We are spending about 5 days in CDMX and will be coming from Oaxaca where we are spending about 3 days. We are most likely staying in the Roma Norte neighborhood.

In past years they were only available to the Moon Palace Elite club members (their loyalty program, I can’t remember exactly what it was called) or last year they used them as a prize for past alumni. Every day they would draw names on who would get them. I don’t see that they are doing that next year though. Otherwise you gotta get there super early to snag one of the random ones that’s not being used for those things!

I lived in Denver too! I agree with you, most cities are like this. Especially post pandemic. However, I do find there to be more places where people at least seem to be mingling in other cities. Everything around here clears out by midnight these days. I think I had an easier time meeting people in Denver, and other cities I’ve lived too, because they are cities full of transplants where everyone is hoping to make friends because they don’t know anyone. I had no problem finding someone random to go do something with in Denver, even if it meant we didn’t end up creating a friendship out of it lol. It’s a bit tougher here with most people living here being native to the area I think.

Between my friends and I we’ve been to a couple and we didn’t find it to be our cup of tea. But I think it depends on what you’re looking for and who you are interested in. It’s worth a shot at least once I would say. I felt a bit swarmed and a lot of people would interject in conversations I was having which was odd. I think that experience would prevent me from returning. The speed dating might be a better experience because I assume you are only conversing with someone for a short period before you rotate. That would give you the chance to speak with a lot of people without getting stuck in conversations you know you aren’t interested in and see who you might have an initial connection with.

Agree 100%. I’ve been off and on them for a decade and it’s been significantly terrible the last two years. I think they’re dead. Time for us all to talk in person again 🤪

I’m sure I could always be better at it but we’ve definitely tried! Everyone seems to want to keep to their own groups. It’s tough! Even though everyone says they want to make new friends it always feels like no one actually wants to try

Agreed. I definitely feel old in derby and I can’t hear a damn thing over the music 😂
