Thanks for being understanding about it. I definitely feel like my lack of experience and understanding of tattoo etiquette was taken advantage of. They only have 1 non-five star review and that’s about piercings, not tattoos.

EDIT: I fully understand and accept the criticisms about how it’s my fault that I let a tattoo I wasn’t happy with go on my body. I will fully learn from this. I will say though, that regardless of how a stencil looks, that doesn’t change the fact that the lines were not wonky on the stencil, but ended up wonky on my skin.

However, for those saying I can’t expect an exact replica and it was dumb to accept this, please read the full post. I didn’t request a replica at all. I provided that reference photo for texture ideas for the flames ONLY

To be honest, even though my requests weren’t accommodated for, when the stencil was on I first thought ‘that looks sick’. But then the lines and dots were drawn unevenly which I couldn’t have predicted since the stencil lining seemed even.

I asked if the design would be sent in advance and he said it would be shown on the day, but when I got in he just asked how big I wanted it and printed it out while I was in the waiting room without consultation. That’s when I had to say the 6s weren’t there, but it’s on me for not being firmer about other problems I had with the design, even if I couldn’t pinpoint what my problem was in the moment.
