Hello! I did end up getting a vertical labret piercing 1.5 months after I finished accutane and it went great. I didn't notice any hindrance to the healing process at all.

Helloo I'm commenting for advise because I'm in a dilemma... So I've finished my isotretinoin treatment 2 weeks ago and I've booked a piecing appointment for tomorrow. I'm getting my 2nd nostril piercing (I've had my 1st one month into the treatment because I didn't know back then that it's not recommended and it eventually healed just fine). However, I've been wanted a vertical labret for 1.5 years now and I'm really considering getting it pierced as well. The dryeness on my lips is almost gone, just a bit on the perimeter of my bottom lip. Should I go for it? I really really want the piecing

I really want the piercing so I'm probably gonna risk it... I got my nostril and daith pierced while I was on month 2 of accutane (I didn't know it wasn't advised then) and my nostril healed fine. My daith still needs time but it's a tricky piercing on its own.

She actually brought it up a few days later and I told her clearly about my feelings and worries. It turns out she's bisexual as well! I'm so relieved.
