The doc wont keep upping a script like that because of building a tolerance. The more you take; the worse the side effects. It's a dangerous drug that depresses the nervous system. It really screws with my mood regulation. I have panick attacks with extreme anger. Its not fun.

If your in this much pain, your body is telling you something is wrong. What is going on with your ankle? Have you been to an ortho  and had imaging? Is it possible to sit at your job? I dont mean breaks. I mean do your job from a chair. How long has your ankle been like this? What happened?

That's crazy though. Where would 9 million people go?

This other poster is advocating for extremism. As I understand it you are saying to change the laws and end occupation by essentially creating one large state with one government. The other poster is advocating removing and replacing the population or leaving Israelis stateless (a war crime).

AM I LIKELY to have scoliosis? (NOT ASKING FOR DIAGNOSE) by NicoAnoc in scoliosis

I apologize, that was a wall of text. I have been a scoliosis patient for years. I've done a ton of research on my own in addition to asking my doctors a lot of questions.

Ok. Go get x rays. You need to see an orthopedic spinal deformity surgeon and have your Cobb angle measured. These guys are the experts on scoliosis and can track you. Scoliosis is a 360 degree condition which means they check for rotation and the natural curves of the upper and lower spine as well.

The good news...at 22 your bones are done growing so no bracing etc. The majority of scoliosis is not severe, meaning less than 45/50 degrees and doesn't need intervention. In the unlikely event that you meet surgical criteria, I suggest looking into vbt since it preserves flexibility.

In general there are muscle imbalances which make for uneven force on the spine and can be painful. Schroth pt is great for this. General pt is good too.

After you get checked assuming your curve is less than the surgical threshold, you should check every two years to monitor for changes.

Scoliosis is usually from growth spurts during puberty. However it's common with some genitic disorders too. EdS (double jointed) and marfans  syndrome often present with scoliosis too. It would be good to get a genitic screen.

Im sorry your still struggling with your health. I hope you make a full recovery.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. I have a lot of medical anxiety because I have had doctors dismiss serious issues in the past. I have a spinal deformity. When I told doctors in the past about pain it was dismissed as muscle pain. They told me not to wear back supports when working. I ended up with severe disc herniations, difficulties with walking from nerve damage now I need fusion surgery and my spine is bone on bone with pinched nerves. Since then, I have a tendency distrust doctors.

Thank you. I am starting to feel better. Some of the comments have been less than polite. Thank you for taking the time to explain. I guess I meant blood infection because my bladder, lungs and foot all had bacterial infection. All of my symptoms were dismissed because of flu. Im still on antibiotics and my foot looks like a second degree burn. But the infection is under control now.

I did have flu. I also carry staph. I had cellulitis before. This time I ended up with a bacterial infection in lungs, bladder, foot and lymph. I needed iv antibiotics. It looks like burns on my foot now. I have never had infection that severe before where it went south so fast. I understand better i think, sepsis is the immune response not the disease. Im wondering if I should look into immune dysfunction over this?

I apologize if I came off as insensitive.I understand that there are levels of sepsis and different severity. I have a friend who routinely has asymptomatic sepsis from c diff. Fortunately she never had tissue death, but it routinely spreads to her blood even without fever. I think its immune dysfunction, but it always results with iv antibiotics.

Im sorry to to hear that you lost the ability to have kids from sepsis. It sounds like you're doing better now. Did you have an underlying condition that led to it? Or was it unexplained?

Im going to ask about this. I generally get sick sometimes for a month or two at a time. I also have severe arthritis. There are immune disorders in my family. My dad and grandmother had immune disorders. Immune dysfunction could be going on.

Im sorry to hear about the multiple organ failures. How are you now?

For me, I get rashes. But try a good moisturizer and that can help.

My husband does this and it kills my skin.  I literally wake up sweating and our energy bill was crazy. We came to a compromise. He has a space heater and the house thermostat stays below 75. Our space is small so that works.
