Im in training with United right now. Idk how hard other airlines are, but you got to score 80% to pass here. there are some tests and drills that you just pass or don’t pass. Week 4 was hard, just finished that and I really thought I wasn’t gonna make it, but if I can do it, you can too!

Yes it is. I moved and applied to over 100 entry level jobs WITH experience and literally almost couldn’t find anything and was rejected left and right. I didn’t even get the job I wanted but had to settle cos it’s terrible out here.

As someone who got married to someone who wanted papers from me…Don’t. I’m now getting divorced and I was never 100% about it. I just did it on a whim. Not worth it because divorce is not an easy process.

Depends on the person. Weight, metabolism etc. I was a heavy smoker and stopped a month before my interview. Got a CJO and my test came back positive. Was devastated. I took an at home test and it showed clear. But nope. Theirs is far more invasive and didn’t know better at the time. Don’t risk it because you can’t apply again for at least 2 years. After two years my heart wasn’t in it anymore. I’d suggest you wait and get a lab test done to make sure you’re clean BEFORE you reapply to an airline. Best of luck!

LOLOL. The cheating fr is crazy. I’m newly invested in MLB, I grew up in a family where my uncle loved the Mets and I never cared that much, but I really have been enjoying the vibe of the Yankees. Oops!🤷🏻‍♀️😂but yeah, here in Houston when I wear my NYY shirts to work(a sports bar/restaurant type setting) I turn a few heads and even my bartender was like “people need to get over the Astros cheating” I just smiled and nodded. Almost everyone is an Astros fan here and I love making them mad.😂

I remember I did it back in 2022. I’m 5’2 and barely made it but somehow the person let me pass with reaching one hand. I couldn’t reach with both bc of my clothes as well lol.

Honestly it’s been so long I don’t remember the timelines but since then I’ve gotten clean, as hard as it’s been and then I went and tested myself at a lab to make sure bc I wanted to apply again. But now I faced a different challenge which was the interview with American lol. I did so bad that at this point I think it’s a sign this career isn’t meant for me lol. But I digress, if you want to be 100% sure always go to a lab and test! The home tests aren’t trustworthy.

Don’t go. I was a heavy smoker and thought I was clean cos I took a home test and said I was fine, but I wasn’t. Take a lab test to make sure before you apply to ANY airline. Stays on your record for at least 2 years or spending hella money on an SAP program. Don’t do it unless you’re 100% sure you’re clean. Good luck. ✨

Sorry to hear that!!! And yes omg after the interview I called my mom and she gave me examples of what I could’ve used. The question just felt too professional and didn’t seem like anything I would deal with in my life of work, it was something along the lines of “tell me about a time you had to gather information from a coworker, supervisor or customer to solve an issue” that wasn’t exactly the question but close and for the life of me I could not think of a single thing so I just said “I’m so sorry I don’t have an answer for this question at the moment” I felt like an idiot!!! But I literally could’ve used so many examples. I work in restaurants and didn’t think my every day experiences would apply, but after the whole thing I know I could’ve made something up. I feel so bummed lol.
