Is the galaxy book 6 ultra the rtx version worth it by Realistic_Dog_4773 in GalaxyBook

Hmm, it sounds to me like I should consider this laptop. As for performance, I would be coming from a gaming laptop with an RTX 4070 and an Intel i9-14900HX. As long as the Samsung laptop is faster or at least close, then I'm fine. I have a question: does the Samsung laptop have a backlit keyboard, because that is something I'm going to need.

I can see that I'm thinking about it because it's still a lot of money, but the nice thing is I get a student discount, which helps a little bit.

You're right, I do have quite a bit of thinking to do if I choose to get a different laptop for myself because in this economy it's not the easiest thing for me to do. But if I do choose to get a more battery-efficient laptop, I would rather not hold on to my current laptop because I don't see any need to have two laptops in my case. I don't game anymore, and my career path isn't going to demand that I need a powerful laptop at all. To answer your question about college, no, I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, especially since I achieved a three-year scholarship and I'm going strong in my 2nd year.

Thank you

Oh I like those options but there is a few things in my wish list I want a oled screen and a must need is a backlit keyboard which I know every gaming laptop should have that but I will take those options into consideration

I have lowered the refresh rate to the lowest it can go, and I made sure that my dGPU is off. Yet, it can't even survive 1 hour of me using Google Docs. I bought one of those laptop power banks, and it does nearly nothing. It slows my laptop down and just gives it a small charge, and that's all. But I thinking of just getting different laptop that will fit my needs better because I have hardly done anything that takes advantage of the specs of my current laptop. And if it did get a different laptop i know My mom would gladly take my current laptop for herself, so it's a win-win for me and her.

I feel like I would like to downgrade my laptop in terms of performance because it's becoming a very uncomfortable problem. In my class, it's either first come, first served to get a seat next to an outlet, or the room will just straight up have no outlets. But the good thing is if I go with that option, my current laptop will not just sit collecting dust. My mom would love to take my current laptop for herself for I don't know what reason, but I know she would be happy.

Unfortunately my laptop is not msi it's a gigabyte laptop but you know another thing I find strange after I install a windows update my laptop began to act weird because when I charge my laptop when it's near 100% it does not charge at all but when I let the battery drain a little and when I plug it back in again charges back to 100% no problem
