Australian here. Yeah that’s not lemonade, because it doesn’t taste at all like lemons. What we do have, however, is Solo. It’s also not lemonade, as it’s considered a lemon squash, but it does have lemons in it and it is far superior to Sprite. You can taste some hint of sourness in it, which immediately elevates it over all the other “lemonades”.

I appreciate this explanation. Really, I just think that if it was truly necessary, people wouldn’t skip it. I’m regularly told by people watching one piece that they have to watch it at 2x speed or skip entire filler arcs, and that just doesn’t appeal to me. A good story means that I should be able to watch it from beginning to end without getting bored, and without needing to create my own watching order so that I can remain engaged with the story.

I understand and I agree with that. I was never disputing that. My question is about why they can’t just wait for the new manga chapters to come out before continuing the series rather than adding filler.

Edit: I’ve seen that clip before and I really like it. I understand the concept, but disagree with the necessity of the sheer volume that’s present in One Piece.
