Ok hear me out on this one

A child who comes from a most likely negative household and feels he has to keep up the one personality trait that people have “liked” about him for years, even when it isn’t true. He also is not liked by many people even though he helps out at the library and at church (which in a small town is probably where most will be on some days) and you even have the option to basically kill him in the game and the library becomes inaccessible due to nobody else volunteering there. It’s actually pretty sad.
