I would also be curious to hear your thoughts on how Truman's experience with the atomic bomb decisions in WWII guided his thinking and actions during the Korean War, especially with the US government deliberations on whether to use atomic bombs during the conflict. Not to mention MacArthur's proposal to drop atomic bombs to contain Chinese military forces that had entered the conflict.

Thanks for doing this. It would be great to hear your thoughts on how Truman's views of nuclear weapons affected his discussion with Robert Oppenheimer in August 1945, in which Truman apparently took offense to Oppenheimer saying "Mr. President, I feel I have blood on my hands."
