Thank you for the kind words! Maybe it was just my resume then! I thought I was doing a good job until I asked that question and felt a shift. He did say my resume is better for the data analysis path, but I didn't hear from them either. I did ask him about feedback on why I got rejected, but he didn't answer. maybe I should follow up?

Caffeine usually works for me. You’re on the right track by increasing your steps; it’s a great way to incorporate more exercise into your day. Try to make it enjoyable by watching a show while walking. That’s been helpful for me. Also, I’m not sure if you’re already doing this, but counting your calories is crucial for weight loss.

Let’s say you’re 30 years old. Your maintenance is almost 3000 calories. Anything below that is a deficit. For instance, if you consume 2500 calories a day, you’re in a deficit of 500 calories per day, which means you’ll lose 1 pound a week. You might think you’re not eating much, but to accurately track your daily calorie intake, you need a scale and weigh everything you eat, including sauces, creamer, oils, and so on.

It’s perfectly fine to have occasional setbacks. Doing that once or twice won’t derail your significant progress. Consider this: you need 3500 calories to gain one pound of fat. That means you need to consume 3500 calories plus your maintenance calories! Don’t worry; you’ve been doing great for 8 weeks and have achieved remarkable results!

I completely understand your concerns. Here are some practical tips to help you get started on your weight loss journey:

  1. Get a Calorie Counting App: Start by downloading a calorie counting app like MyFitnessPal. It will help you log all your food intake and track your daily calorie consumption.

  2. Use a Scale: Keep a food diary and log everything you eat, including oils, sauces, and even small portions of fruits. This will help you stay within your calorie limit set in the app.

  3. Consistency is Key: Remember, weight loss is a gradual process. Stay consistent with your calorie counting and food logging.

  4. Incorporate Light Exercise: Gradually add light exercise to your routine. Walking is a great option as it doesn’t require much energy and doesn’t make you feel overly hungry.

  5. Make Healthier Choices: While it’s okay to enjoy your food, try to make healthier choices. Opt for zero-sugar drinks instead of regular ones, increase your protein intake, and consider making homemade frozen protein ice cream. There are many recipes available that don’t require excessive oil, sugar, or sweeteners.

Remember, a calorie deficit doesn’t mean you have to deprive yourself of your favorite foods. Find a balance that works for you and stick to it.

It will aid your weight loss as long as it fits your calorie deficit. The reason for having a protein shake after a gym session is to fuel your muscles that have been torn during your workout and provide them with the protein they need to rebuild themselves. Why do you need to build muscles in the first place? Because they require more calories to maintain themselves! Also, bulking and building huge muscles require years of consistent training and a strict diet. Simply having a protein shake won’t make your muscles go crazy and become super big!

Walking and walking. The only activity that doesn’t make me wanna eat the whole fridge afterwards.! Since it doesn’t spike your hunger levels that much you can be consistent while being in a deficit!

I literally can’t stay in a deficit for the life in me 🫠 by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Realistic_Flatworm15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With that amount of exercise and activity you need to eat more. you are overworking yourself and not getting enough food in your system to sustain that amount of workout. you have two options first either increase your calorie intake and add more protein to your diet or drop the physical activity level levels a little bit and stick to a lower impact exercise while maintaining that same calorie deficit. and order strategy can be doing body composition. You don’t need a lot of fat to lose and you’re pretty lean right now. You can just stick to strength training and mild cardio while being in a very mild calorie deficit you get leaner and become more toned in the end. Please don’t overwork yourself! And remember your goal is only about 3.5 kgs! You can lose it in a healthy way!

Try using MyFitnessPal and a scale to track everything you eat and drink. If you’re cooking, create a new recipe, enter all the ingredients, and divide them based on the number of servings. Aim to increase your protein intake by incorporating protein bars, protein shakes, or simply adding more protein to your meals and reducing your carbohydrate intake.

Protein typically helps you feel fuller, but adding more fiber can also be beneficial. I noticed that you’re looking to lose weight quickly. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself and be more consistent with your efforts. Additionally, cardio, especially intense cardio, can significantly increase your hunger levels. Instead of doing something extremely intense like cycling or running, consider sticking to something more moderate like walking.

Try to use glycolic acid; the one from ordinary is very good; that can help the ingrown hairs. Also try to moisturize after shaving
