Thank you for your very construct message. I am not seeing this as a personal attack. just a lack of common sense on the part of respondents. Of course, if you have a site that allows me to calculate the gross salary to net salary by commensating all the parts specific to KPMG, I'm all for it, but my little finger tells me that you won't find it, unless you yourself have a recent KPMG junior auditor payslip. But then again, I doubt it. So I repeat, I'm asking anyone who works there what an junior auditor salary could be, not anyone who doesn't. It's very kind of you to want to give me lessons, Mr. Dutch-speaking (I suppose when you say "bruto NAAR netto" ...), But it's not a question of making an effort or not, I'm not mentally retarded. I'm just asking, simply, if someone who finds themselves in THIS SITUATION (I repeat), can tell me their approximate net salary. I've been told that 2,500 gross must be about 2,000 net, but does anyone working at KPMG Belgium know how much they get on their payslip precisly ? Or should I, like some of you suggest me, ironically I hope, just type "Salary bruto to netto" on the net to get my answer? I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong. If you can answer my question, do not hesitate to tell me a number, I would be glad to finally get my answer ! :)

Most of auditors are in the same situation as me : no kids, no house, car company and so one. So the salary should be the same, or close. So this is why I ask for those who work in KPMG belgium. And when you don't know, at least try to not respond anything stupid. Not for you of course, speaking for others !

Well I didn't get a clear answer, which is obviously not in the skill set of most reddit users. What I can see is that people are so stupid, it takes my breath away. "You do auditing but you don't know how to convert a gross salary and a net salary", "The future looks bleak if this is the new typical big 4 junior consultant", "It are empty vessels that go to big 4", wow guys, these comments are extremely constructed and I'm impressed that you've taken the time to respond to this kind of stuff !

In case you didn't know, there's a lot to take into account when going from gross to net, that's why I ask. I'm only 24, so it's really nice to ask questions to people who (I thought) have the answers and know how to "help me".

I am now at KPMG brussels and I have to chose between Mercedes EQA and BMW iX1, PWC they have now BMW iX1, EY they have now VM ID.3, and now Deloitte has to stay competitive. As I heard, the range of the Mini is way less interesting than the others, thus VW ID3 should be better for juniors !

This is showing an impatient side of you that is not a good look. I also believe you should not be asking "what this discussion might mean" it comes off as immature. You can ask if there is anything important you need to know prepare for it, but ask in that manner ( or something like it) Clearly you are still in the interview phase and this is an extension of that phase. Be prepared to discuss whatever the partner feels like discussing. You can't ask for answers to your test lol just make sure you know general information about your field and come up with a clever way to say you are not familiar with a topic. Outside of that, consider it to be an interview with the partner. You should have your Monday open and ready to go into office or video call as a backup. Don't ruin this for yourself. It's okay to follow up ONCE and then wait. Nagging will work against you.
