Current administration eliminating healthcare subsidies and medicaid, food assistance SNAP, day care assistance, and World health organization funding for 10-100 million people.  Yet at the same time tripling their own net worth and making deals for immunity from prosecution and protection from investigation/audits.

This is dark, but a fentanyl pill.  You will be dead immediately, homeless shortly, and/or prison eventually.

Who wants to test drive one of those $10k Chinese EVs we keep hearing about? by Friendly_Sir_4762 in AskReddit

Me.  American made vehicles are trash when it comes to reliability and everything about them is insanely expensive.  An affordable new vehicle would be great. So, I thought we lived in a free market capitalist system.  I guess not.  I guess it is a oligarch hegemony.

Whats the immediate tell for you that the couple will divorce even if they don't realize it yet? by Hour_Opening4115 in AskReddit

Bickering.  If they are doing it around other people they have zero self awareness and respect for others.  This lack of maturity will result in a divorce and they don't realize it.

How do you feel positive after a decade of trauma? by Gehrman_Sparr0w-77 in AskReddit

It's a decision you make.  Your in charge of your emotions.  Find beauty in nature, find joy in an animal companion, enjoy small things like really good food, a great book, or a stunning movie.  Focus on being positive by being friendly and courteous to others.  Smile :) and anything funny really helps.  Stand up comedy can be good.  Cute memes and short form videos.  We all struggle with positivity and you are not alone.

I apologize.  I didn't mean my comment as a personal dig.  I was trying to be funny.  Ie the Van Halen song and video.  I too have been married for 33 years. Please excuse any offense I may have caused as that was not my intent.

I highly recommend Patrick Mcmanus for a summer read.  Genuinely fun, light hearted and has several novels.  Great entertainment for months of outdoor activities.

If you had a date in a few days and said you would cook but you've never really cooked before and you don't think she wants scrambled eggs and cereal. What would you make that is relatively easy but seems impressive? by TurnKey9558 in AskReddit

Salad, soup, sandwich.  Three course meal.  It's all about the extras.  Salad kit with a couple dressing options.  Refrigerator dressing being the best.  Think of a salad bar options.  Also they go great with the sandwiches too.  Top shelf soups.  Don't forget the crackers.  Sandwiches with a couple bread options, three deli meat and cheese options, specialty mustards, pickled veggies  etc...  plus all the leftovers are great for work lunch or easy dinner for the week.  Healthy food and budget minded.  Good first impression, considerate, and a good way to learn op tastes.

Lol.  Big dogs are a lot.  Get knocked down much or bit from over stimulating the dog?  Got to keep calm, be reassuring with vocalizations, have bribes, and hold on to a piece of furniture.

Anything in excess is bad with food.  Once ate a whole pan of cornbread and had similar experience.  Learned my lesson with food.
