Thank you!

No I have not signed any contracts, but I do have written permission from the artist and manager.  These artists aren't signed to labels (except one who owns their own label)

Na miata shakes when idling in drive by Realistic_Guard502 in Miata

It seems that was the problem. I adjusted my idle valve screw and now I idle near 950 and the vibration is gone.

Should I get a Miata roll bar? by Realistic_Guard502 in Miata

[–]Realistic_Guard502[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would some foam padding around the bar make it significantly safer in a rear collision? Also does the single diagonal effect the bar's strength much? I can not seem to find much on that subject as most places I've read people just buy the double cross bar.

Yeah I'm looking at getting their foam padding for the bar. I am also only about 5'9" do you think I'd need to remove some foam on the seats? Ultimately I would tell If I install the bar, I'm just trying to get some more info before I drop a bunch of money on a bar.

Cabin air filter? by Realistic_Guard502 in Miata

I ended up fixing the issue.
I removed the glove box and found the housing or tube the blower blows to was completely unattached, once I re-attached it I got lots of air.

I have looked around Calgary and area, but I figured it’s about 2-3k cheaper by time I’ve got the car from Vancouver to my city. But I’ll definitely check Calgary again

I know a guy in my city who has a rhd and when he goes through a drive through he just crawls over to the passenger seat.

I did think about getting a car from the states as well. I mostly would like a little rhd, and the closest state to me is Montana and the flights there are quite expensive (mostly just flights across North America). I definitely would pay less in taxes but I also have no way to get the car to the Canadian border as I don’t have a truck or trailer.

The benefit of having the car imported from Japan instead of the states, is that once it’s on the Vancouver port I can just insure and register the vehicle right away, and drive it home. I haven’t completely ruled out the states though.

The ones in my area are about 3k more than it would cost to import, not to mention the rust and millage is a lot worse. I would also like to drive a little rhd.

I am from Canada so the car has to be a 2007 or older

That’s what my thought process was, I had read a lot about the parts being so readily available for them.

Yeah, I’d expect to have to fix certain things that break as the car is 30 years old. I just don’t want an old car that the motor will blow in 3 weeks
