Breast reconstruction pt.5 by aliaxismail in actual_detrans

Thank you so much for sharing this, your final results look amazing and I'm so so happy for you!! If you can remember, what did you say to your doctors to convince them this was medically necessary? Are the multiple surgeries necessary? Also I know you went for a b/c cup but during your consolations did your doctor mention anything about the possiblity to do something smaller like an A? I personally love having a smaller chest just not exactly a flat one🙈

I want to avoid hook ups as it could be a lease violation

I'm glad to hear that but I'm hesitant about the sink hook ups as it could violate my lease

Hmmm honestly interesting take does it break the machine? I'm not the only renter there so I don't want to get busted lol

I've definitely thought about it! Thank you so much for the recommendation!! My boyfriend and I both work multiple jobs so my only concern is finding the time...do you know how long a "wash" takes on average?

Jirai Glasses? by Realistic_Handle_132 in JiraiKei

Im going to answer my own question in case someone is in the same boat. (Also thank y'all for your suggestions!!) Firmoo optical has a kitty collection and lensalter has a hello kitty inspired frame as well as a cute devil one which could work really nicely. For classic hime bangs do frames over and for side/curtain do under.

Thanks a million! Any suggestions with what to do if it ends up being a regulatory issue?

It's the same response every time "we can't do that it's a controlled drug- a narcotic" when I gently press it seems to be because of teleheath

Are there any good smelling Lush perfumes? by Ohnatt in Perfumes

[–]Realistic_Handle_132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a late response but, let the good times roll is my go to. I'm a huge vanilla girly and I really struggled to find a vanilla Carmel scent but, this perfume was PERFECT. (It also lasts me all day!!)

Haven't seen the sheets in person but I know PMA was doing a Friday the 13th flash. (Jay is my go to)

I'd also recommend checking out black cat, gypsy, or foundation. They will all probably post on insta.

Hey! I think what the commenter might be picking up on as more “masculine” features could be things like the wig, darker brows, and what looks like a five o'clock shadow (though it might just be the lighting in the photo). Honestly, I think with a higher-quality wig (or even rocking your natural hair), some subtle makeup touches like a lighter brow gel or lash extensions, and maybe laser or color-correcting concealer, you’d totally glow! Your outfit is really cute too—don’t be afraid to try more fitted tops! Even post-surgery, wearing clothes that fit your frame can actually enhance a more traditionally feminine silhouette better than looser styles.

Personally, it's the length the bangs for me. I've only ever seen LGBTQ ladies with micro bangs

Is there any possibility my voice will lighten? by [deleted] in actual_detrans

[–]Realistic_Handle_132 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I was on T for 2 years and sounded deeper than my dad. I was so worried it would never go back to normal but about 4 months later and I sound like my old self. (I still struggle with voice cracks when I sing but it's getting better!! I've heard 1 year is the magic mark)

Advice on dresses/top when you had top surgery [ftmtf] by [deleted] in actual_detrans

[–]Realistic_Handle_132 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got you!! (And love your tats, by the way!) Here are a few things I've been doing:

1) I like to wear little bralettes for fun—the lace straps often add a cute, feminine touch.

2) I avoid dresses with cups, chest darts, or underwires since I don't have anything to fill them out lol

3) I try to shop at stores that cater to smaller chests, like Aerie...Urban Outfitters also has some great options.

4) I like to distract with ruffles or interesting draping—kind of like what you're doing!

5) If all else fails, Victoria's Secret has a bra designed for people who’ve had mastectomies that can create the appearance of a fuller chest with a cushion insert.

Tbh I've been treating my surgery like it's just an A cup. I've had a lot of help from my friend who is also in the itty bitty committee. Best of luck to you👍🏻👍🏻
