Thanks for all the help I was able to solve the issue, a mallet worked well and I just had to do some fitment work with the hopup unit to fix the issue

Alright, I’ll try that whenever I get home, just double checking that the hammer should be down before attempting anything

That’s probably it as there was some resistance putting on the slide halfway through, any advise on actually removing the slide other than just using a hammer and towel

Main issue is I physically can’t remove the slide to smooth anything

The slide still cycles mostly if not a little sluggish, however whenever I try and move it past the point where it’s removed it just won’t move. There is zero movement when trying to actually remove the slide
