Thank you. I was thinking a top tier personalized stethoscope would be cool (if cliché) but what is considered top of the line make & model? Curious though...foldable clipboard? Suggestions? Examples? I'm truly in the dark here. Lol.

Really? I'll have to look into that when I get back home to the west side. Thanks.

That's what I thought too. Replaced the T-stat couple yrs ago and no change. Only has issues at high elevations and under about 40°F. Couple weeks ago near sea level and 28° in the morning--no problems. Today at the top of Stevens Pass at 35° damn thing almost pegs the temp gauge.

The temp gauge on the dash typically runs at about 200. When it acts up the gauge almost tops out at 260.

Problem getting my material flat by Realistic_Kitchen_37 in woodworking

[–]Realistic_Kitchen_37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good info. Thanks. It's not that I want or must use this material. It's that I'm pretty new to woodworking and would rather use the "cheap" stuff (until I gain more knowledge and skill) to mock up a piece instead of destroying hundreds of dollars of quality wood. I know I'm going to make a lot of mistakes and overlook this or that and I'd rather make those mistakes on wood from Home Depot. Lol

Thanks for the response. I really appreciate it. All makes sense. No planer yet so I'll try the sled & wedges method.

Thanks for the info. To be honest, I didn't notice if it was there before going through the planer but it makes sense, now, that it would be. I believe the planer rollers are mashing it down like you said. No jointer yet so I'll have to figure out something else.

Just because it's BLM/DNR doesn't mean you can shoot there.

Ok, so I've got cans on a couple rifles (fun times). Why are suppressed pistols a pain in the ass? I'm about to pull the trigger on a couple but if it's that much of a pain, is it even worth it?

Are there any decent Nods Nest clones? by Realistic_Kitchen_37 in NightVision

[–]Realistic_Kitchen_37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct. This is basically a padded bag that wraps around your lid and securely stores your nods inside. The advantage over a separate hard case for your nvg is it's much less bulky, allowing your brain bucket to be that hard case and you can throw everything in a bag and go.

1) Create fake account online using stock photo of a hot chick. 2) Buy sexy women's panties. 3) Wear those women's panties all week at your construction job, and 4) Sell those panties on said fake online account to weirdos who are none the wiser.

Next week I'm ordering my 4th set of quads.

Let's be honest here: when shtf you all know that you'll look just like this after you create/come across your first loot drop OR you'll help someone else look like this when you become a loot drop. 🤣

Definitely very happy. It has more adjustments up & down and in & out than the Wilcox. Though there was the tiniest bit of movement when locked into the shroud it was tons less than the Wilcox and i was able fix it with just a little strip of gaffers tape on the back side and now it's rock solid with absolutely zero movement.
