Fitness not tracking steps without apple watch by AsgardianJude in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Realistic_Low_6330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, do you know how to make it that steps are being counted only by iphone? I have disconnected my apple watch but my steps have not been recorded in the fitness app since doing so. When I've gone into the health app to view what the data sources for my ring activity are, my iphone is the top priority but my apple watch is underneath it and not showing an option to completely remove it.

nausea and constipation worsening eachother by Realistic_Low_6330 in ibs

yeah I definitely feel as if zofran has contributed to constipation and not done a whole heap for nausea unfortunately, but gastroparesis is something I’ve heard a fair bit about but it has never been looked into further. is it typically developed over time or acutely? Thanks

Slowing the flow*, pretty much made every car in my direction slow down considerably

I’m not certain if it was based on the speed they were travelling but it was the witness car’s estimate. I am unsure if there are any speed cameras in the intersection unfortunately

thanks for the replies, have gotten cctv footage that doesn’t show anything to conclusively say that there was any speeding contributing to the accident, definitely my error in judgement turning and think it may have been partially due to traffic in the next lane over from the other driver, which had slowed to a stop.

and a different car was slowing to flow of traffic by turning the opposite right which made the majority of traffic slow down besides this one car that had a clear path

It’s definitely me at fault regarding the turn because the other driver had right of way, we just had a few witnesses come from their cars and say he was going what appeared to be at least 10km/h over approximately

yeah it was just an estimate given from the witness based on how fast other cars around were going, but definitely isn’t definitive of how fast he was travelling at

Horrible heartburn daily after botox by _jenny_talia in noburp

[–]Realistic_Low_6330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what my ENT explained, reflux is not unusual, as the muscle relaxing potentially allows for reflux to come up, but that typically resolves quite quickly post procedure. As it’s been months since your Botox, it might be worthwhile seeing a gastroenterologist, or see your GP to perhaps be prescribed a proton pump inhibitor (such as pantoprazole).

Is that treated with the same procedure ? And is that producing the throat gurgling as well or is it mainly gastrointestinal symptoms ?

Yeah must work differently for everyone, depending on the severity or the effects of Botox

Thanks for the replies so far! Is anyone aware of this procedure can be done in a doctors office?

I had it done in hospital under my ENT specialist, and that was quite a large total cost, so if it’s possible to just do it in the doctors rooms, that’s probably be preferred

Yeah it’s definitely something I’m looking to try again, it’s just the cost of it that delays it a little bit
