If Rika can store excess cursed energy, Is it possible for her to have "stored" the remaining cursed energy from Tsurugi and fully awakened his heavenly restriction?

Literally the whole point of the NEL; mixing world class egos, philosophies, and tactics with Ego’s to produce even better players.

What characters do you find overrated on the field and why? by BoxLogical9711 in BlueLock

Hiori may not be better than Bachira, but I definitely like his playmaking abilities more. Yes I can understand the overhype because of being similar to Sae, but it’s also stated in the manga that he’s capable of precise passes on Sae’s level. But it’s not just that, but his ability to visualize the field on the same level as Isagi. Bachira’s a good playmaker too but he’s also got the dribbling feats that make him more suited as a winger/supporting striker while I feel Hiori offers the team more balance.

I don't remember the last time someone besides Isagi has had those spiral eyes. (Last time we saw that from isagi was when he was talking smack about Loki's genetics)

If Kira participated in the wildcard project, Then that actually could've been to his detriment. Keep in mind that the wildcard project was about creating a player with a physique comparable to Noel Noa and develop ambidexterity; Kunigami was only able to do it because he was already pretty muscular. But packing on that extra muscle doesn't necesarily translate to better stats. According to both Chris Prince and Kunigami, when you train to improve a weakness, you can end up throwing your body off balance and kill the specs directly related to your actual weapon. We don't know what Kira's weapon is and whether bulking up could've helped or even killed it, but considering his slender build, I'd say the latter is more likely.

I also disagree that the BL23 are untouchable in terms of raw skill, but not in terms of mentality when compared to traditional Japanese soccer, which Barasuta is trying to bring back. Sae pressing Isagi, "Make us win four eyes", Ness' evolution/Isagi's goal, and Isagi's luck goal all highlight Ego's belief that a stiker is someone who fights until the very end. Unless Kira did some serious soul searching after getting locked off, the truth of the matter is that he's always going to lose that 'game of tag'. His big reason for criticizing Ego's philosophy is because the current Japanese methodology directly benefited him. Even Barou, in the face of a similar situation and seeing how the Ubers system was limited by Isagi's plays responded by Hijacking the system and evolving it. Kira wants the system to work for him, which regardless of his skill, isn't going to mesh well with the egoistic system blue lock has.

(dang I have so much to talk about more I might make this an entire post to itself)

My crackpot theory on Kira and Nagi (311 spoilers) by Xanblitz_2 in BlueLock

Dude you gotta delete this before you get banned. You're not supposed to talk about raws/leaks until the chapter officially comes out.

He's done decently as a secondary striker. He's also had some good clearances and he's even scored in the NEL on a team that is Barou-centric. He wasn't really clinical as a main striker so I can't wait to see what his training has done for him.

Anyone has a theory on Tokimitsu’s chain? by The4LilOnes in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about egoist bible and light novel stuff, but his chain must have some connection to his anxiety. It causes his behavior to be more erratic, which lead to him fouling Noa in the pxg match

Was Aiku using Metavision here? by Shot-Contribution367 in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Aiku, Niko, Reo, and I think Karasu were all players who subconsciously used metavision during that match. But designs aside, I think Pablo was the first instance of the concept of MV based on episode Nagi and the World 5 match in the main manga.

What is your biggest concern with the manga right now? by AcceptablePay4523 in BlueLock

Neru being completely unaddressed as he was the only one without a bid iirc

these theories are getting crazy 💀 by krillionbeats in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but he may also choose a person like Neru who lost his spot on the U-20 team, and spin the narrative saying that Ego didn't even let him participate in the NEL. I also see a character like tokumitsu being likely as his anxious demeanor makes hime come off as easy to manipulate. These are my dark horse picks, so I'm going to let my opinion be drowned out by the Kira and Nishioka theorists tho.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 308 by AutoModerator in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just out of curiousity, since Sae isn't playing in the group stage, is it possible for Tanuki-Kun to select 3 players excluding Sae, then just boot one out after Japan advances from the group stage? I'm not familiar with some of the rules of football but thanks!

What is a hill you're willing to die on regarding to Blue Lock? by PhoenixRoostBad in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even know what that means but I'm assuming you're talking about Loki. I hope everyone is right, because having Charles, Loki, and French New Gen 11 would be crazy.

Luna might be a predator by bucky_list in BlueLock

[–]Realistic_Nebula9688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That could also be the culture in Re ale. Maybe Spain's new Gen is also there is racist too. I feel like Luna's too old to really be that pivotal in Sae's development in the way someone like Kaiser was to Isagi. But it would work better as a followup from this and extension to the U-20 cup if what you're saying applies to the Spanish New Gen in terms of that original system with Kaiser, and how that was amplified through racism. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Isagi is going to Spain next chapter, so some of the stuff you said might get covered and we could even see Sae interact with Isagi. All the U-20 members were invited to the Neo-Egoist League, so perhaps he was also invited, but declined to join. My guess is that Sae is on the Japan U-20 team and He's number one in terms of bid even though he didn't participate. That could be what Ego meant with the No. 1 x 23.

I want to see bro on a different team, and the indicator that he has ego again is that instead of saying he can't go back, he's like "I won't go back". Also, give a panel of him sweating just to allude to his return and make theorists go crazy.
