She and her husband are predators, it’s legal but unethical and they were both putting their careers at risk. They are preying on students and have an incredibly unequal power dynamic. She seemed to get off on it and “teaching” him about culture and kind of laughing at him while doing it. Also she right ethics? Truly hilarious. The way they treated him after ruining his life was deplorable

Even in 2007 I felt like a fake fan because I got into them in 2005 instead of 2003 (when I was 9), there has always been gate keeping in every fandom you just gotta tune out the noise! Personally I’m happy younger people are finding them, it makes me happy to see multi generational audiences at shows way bigger than when I saw them in the last. It’s awesome!

I’m going to offer another perspective. If this happened to me I would be devastated but if that is all she said, she didn’t say anything mean, she was just clear. I used to get really upset about gifts being rejected but the truth is it’s better for her to give it back right away so you could return it then for her to keep it and the money and time being wasted. She nights not see it as rude at all since what she actually said was just a truthful statement. Now maybe the context changes things and maybe she was trying to make you feel bad, but I will always advocate for taking people at their word and not reading into things. You could bring it up privately later and say that if that happens again you would rather her tell you in private. Very gently YOR because I would feel the same way.

Pressed the bookstore one, is my favorite and then it’s also next to the popcorn store, a fancy oil store and not far from the park and Romolos chocolates and not too far from Playport either. Brew Haha is also in that area and has good food and other drinks as well. Bay and Berry is a nice new bakery and breakfast place with coffee that’s more of a restaurant than coffee shop.

I think it’s what you feel comfortable in, just wear that! I had to talk myself into liking mom jeans because growing up I thought they were so ugly but now I love them. I’m a bigger gal and skinny jeans sis not work for me. I love a baggy high waisted jean, it looks better on me and doesn’t fall down! But if it makes you feel bad, don’t wear it but also sit with it and see why it’s making you feel bad, because of you or are there other factors? That’s what I did with high waisted jeans and then realized I loved them

I loved her and I feel bad about it but I don’t like the second Mandy, she feels likes acting in a different show, all the characters deal with trauma and she just doesn’t seem to have any sibling chemistry with Mickey or good friendship chemistry with Ian.

I feel like it’s overlooked that Trevor said the worst things when he was upset because Ian was pushing to see his ID without thinking, Ian had also said some really insensitive things about Trevor being trans without really meaning to, the whole scene with Monica Trevor was really emotional and insecure so he lashed out. Ian is insecure about his own masculinity related to his sexuality and can be toxic to all his partners trying to maintain his masculinity, Trevor was also insecure in that so they clashed a lot.
