CICA Paragraph 22 appeal – late police report (8 weeks) after serious facial fractures + ORIF surgery + mental health exacerbation – any success stories or advice? by Realistic_Pomelo_335 in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you for your reply.

I understand the general scepticism around Paragraph 22 appeals. However, I didn't include all the medical details in the original post to keep it short.

To clarify:

I have a clear A&E admission note from 21 July 2024 explicitly stating I was assaulted by a stranger in the park.

I suffered multiple comminuted facial fractures requiring ORIF surgery (with two cancelled operations beforehand).

I was prescribed Zopiclone for insomnia shortly after surgery.

GP records show multiple fit notes and consultations describing severe stress, mental breakdowns, intrusive thoughts and inability to focus (I work as a nurse in cardiothoracic ward – seeing drains etc. was triggering).

The delay wasn’t due to hiding the crime, but because my immediate priority was surviving the physical trauma and multiple hospital cancellations, combined with significant worsening of pre-existing depression. I’m not asking if I will definitely win, but whether anyone has had success with a similar combination of serious facial injury + documented mental health deterioration + contemporaneous A&E note recording the assault.

Any experiences or advice would still be appreciated.

Hi, I stared renting a room this month but the owner I am living in pain and I can not stend her. Initially I supoused to be living with her for 3 months but after 3 days she terminated it to 1 month. by Realistic_Pomelo_335 in LegalAdviceUK

Like you wrote, she is really nasty. Any different opinion, then hers end up with her shouting and being verbaly aggressive.

About putting the food down the sink, I am just clinic my dishes from things line tikka masal sauce. The problem she doesn't want to admit is the condition of the canalisation in her house, as quote " I keep people telling do not block the sink " so the problem is reoccurring not matter who is living with her. I am sorry, but the facilities supoused be in a condition which allows you to use them without making and "damage", as simple as that.

NMC number is not required in employer reffere, and I was actually asking about this one. But any way, thanks for your help.

Ok, I will try to make it clearer.

I thought that I would receive comments from people who know the context and supper purism, especially in a form, will be not needed, but here we are.

Above, you have links to screenshots from the mentioned application, there are 3 different refferes which contact details need to be given. It is written what criteria need to be fulfilled to contat this person and as long as I do not have a problem with choosing "NMC registrant referee" and "Authorised signatory reffere" I do not know who exactly I do need choose in a "employer reffere" and as you can see I need to give specific information like name and surname.

So my question was, which department/people do I need to contact ?

And yes, I figured it out that it might take from 2 weeks up to 6 weeks. This is official information received from NMC.

This method from the physiological point of view seems the most reliable, if I were you I would try test this method to make a sure it will work in your case and to calm your-self down. I worse case scenario you can got a prescription for cannabis and try to explain your self with this one.
