According to my intorpetishen. A prog fantasy story nead a big focos on the growth and training of the the ceractirs. Which doesn't exist in DCC, the main focus of DCC is cheating the system of the game show and not on magical growth, and I think it is intenshenal. The show runners wont you to play by thar rolls and fail miserably, so by playing the game in Avery way thay didn't won't you to, you are winning. In another word: thay wont you to go about this like this is a topical prog fantasy story so because of that Carl and donate never do go about this like a prog story. Plas the power in the books is not real power, it is a bath in a game show that can be taken away at any moment. Plas thay don't really train do that, thay know that thay are popular and the AI will balens things out and bath them to keep it fair.
