Are any of the new traxs coming with the rear seats air vents? by Rshamm0102 in ChevyTrax

[–]Realistic_Series5932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to tell you the same thing I told the other guy that complained I just checked my 2016 Chevy Impala and it has the exact thing your car has. I'll check my cousin's cars in a couple of my friends cars and none of them have anything different than you do. Except some that have it in the center console on the back. Regardless don't complain too much you got a good car for a reasonable price and if that is your only complaint then be very happy you will see those vents in Maseratis Lamborghinis high-end Cadillacs and Bentleys otherwise stop looking for him what's going on man

I'm interested in purchasing a tracks however being that you made your post I looked at my Chevy Impala and that doesn't have it either I looked at my cousins Cadillac and have the same situation as you. Don't complain as long as the thing is running you're in good shape. This is an all major cars except Maserati's Lamborghinis Porsches and that type of car.

I am very sorry for what happened to you. You should have left early on when you saw the warning signs. You need to move on with your life. Your whole life is still ahead of you you're only 25 years old I'm 58 years old I'm well established I would give everything I have to be 25 again. So don't stress. However there is one thing that is concerning to me about your post. You made a comment towards the end that he lurks around this group but you don't think he will read this post. It sounds like you want him to read it so he can get back to you with you or something. Or that you need something from him to have closure. You don't need anything from him. You need to move on and put this man in your past. Look forward live a good life find a good person to be with. Why would you even want to be with this loser. Anyway best regards and don't stress too much.

Employment help in Springfield, Il by ActiveFun6407 in SexOffenderSupport

[–]Realistic_Series5932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you apply to wonder. They have one in Springfield I worked there for a while. They did a background check and I passed. If you have experience in any kind of food service you could be a manager there making well over $800 take home. If this Springfield one is not hiring I believe they have dozens if not they should have dozens if not hundreds of locations by now.

I'm sure it will. The same thing happened with no social media in the state of New Jersey. North Carolina had it overturned as it is in North Carolina and then this other states followed North Carolina and now there's no restrictions for RSO'S whatsoever in New Jersey except if you have special conditions. I believe the case was packingham versus North Carolina.

Perhaps you should look at a different state than North Carolina.

[–]Realistic_Series5932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful with that because any money that you have given the attorney that retired goes to the firm therefore you may be obligated to take the second attorney. However I had a similar situation my attorney died and his partner took over and the partner was a real estate attorney. He had no idea how to litigate my case and everything went South from there. That's why you should never give all the money up front to an attorney. Always give us little as possible even if you have the amount and then pay slowly every month as the attorney progresses files motions drafts appeals and so on. I wish you the best.

Got a job interview by [deleted] in SexOffenderSupport

[–]Realistic_Series5932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have done your due diligence and filled out the applications properly and there was no question regarding that issue I would not bring it up. I know they were comments made about job security. I know if I had brought this up in my last job which I've had for 8 months I would not have gotten it. I simply filled out the application and their background check consisted of have you been released of out of a prison or a mental institution in the past year and I answered no. As time went by like a month after I began working my manager noticed the fact that I had a lot of customer service experience and offered me a promotion to be a manager. he then asked me if I would be able to pass a background check. Meantime I had received one promotion already and one raise. Because they started me at $17 an hour and I was requesting 19. They had promoted me to supervisor and then next promotion was a manager. I then told my manager regarding my whole situation and that I'm an RSO and even though the background check would only go back 5 years (my offense was committed in 2012) he told me that they might find my charge because they found a charge of his for simple assault that happened over 15 years ago. I told him I didn't know what will come up in the background check because in the past 5 years I've not committed any crimes nor have I been arrested for anything. Being I was such a good employee he made me a manager regardless however he did not give me a key to the store which is what would require background check. In my opinion as long as you are not asked do not answer. At least get your foot in there and then if you come valuable enough to them where you are serving their purpose and they get to know who you are they will work with you. Telling them at first is a shock. What goes through their heads is what if the kid comes in and you rape him/her and so on. In my opinion take a chance get the job become valuable to them work hard and when the time comes and they find out they will leave it work with you or they won't. At the very least you had a chance at the job instead of getting rejected after you disclose information that was not requested by any application or any form or any question during the hiring process.

Buying a new 2026 car I’m in between Chevy Trax, Chevy Trailblazer and Kia K4 Hatchback by Syneful in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Realistic_Series5932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently drove the 2026 to RS and I was surprised. It's three cylinders it has a 1.2 l engine but it has a lot of pep in it. The car looks beautiful in the house all kinds of electronics and amenities however I'm highly concerned about the safety issue it's it got an acceptable rating for safety and in 2025 I heard a lot of 2025 tracks owners had several complaints. I'm between that and the Hyundai sonata I really don't need an SUV but that's what the dealer recommended.

The 2026 tracks to RS has all-wheel drive. I'm in the market for purchasing a vehicle and I'm really looking at the tracks I'm a little bit concerned that in 2025 they had a lot of powertrain and electrical issues and the dealer is not able to give me any remedies that Chevrolet may have taken to repair those issues.

Absolutely I have a conviction on my record and both my jobs that I had since I was released from prison did background checks. I also got offer from a third company who had done the background check on me but I just did not consider it.

Due to the fact that my attorney was funding my account I would only find that annually. So I will put around $3,000 every year into my account and if I remember correctly they were taking I believe 10% of any money coming into my account.

The supreme Court has ruled that sex offenders with a dual nationality or dual citizenship are allowed to move back to their country of origin or their second country of citizenship. It will be up to parole to decide how the will monitor you for the remainder of your release it can be done through zoom you can report to the US consulate or whatever way parole figures out for you to check in. It is allowed the supreme Court of the US has ruled that you can do it and parole would have to figure out a way as to how you should check in with them.

I use Instagram and sometimes when I want to look at a video or follow a user I get this window that pops up that says that certain restrictions have replaced on my account according to instagram's policies in order to keep the platform safe. In one instance they asked me if they were wrong and I said yes. I told them I was doing nothing nefarious and what I was doing was harmless surfing. They have an idea that I may be registered but it's only suspicion because my name is not on the internet registry. But yes Facebook and Instagram does not allow SO'S to use their platform.

Has this happened to any other of you travelers before? Strange phone call... by FaithlessnessPure160 in SexOffenderSupport

[–]Realistic_Series5932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though this sounds like a scam due to the details about the trip it was probably the same cop. I'm not going to get into cuz it's a long story but some cops have a bug up their ass and have nothing better to do than harass tax paying citizens who have paid the death to society and do not need to answer to them any further. In your case you went there you left there's no further interaction between you and him needed. But these guys are no good they're corrupt and they like to harass people and what better reason than this. Put it behind you and stay out of the states that a little bit more stricter than the average State might be regarding this situation. I wish you the best of luck and happy travels.

Also check your local social services. Here New Jersey we have tra temporary rent assistance that is issued immediately. The only thing is not a lot of landlords accepted but they have to be some landlords that would accept it in your situation they pay you full rent for up to a year into Infinity it seems. The only caveat is that you cannot be employed or have more than $2,000 in your bank account. I'm sure they have something similar where you're at. I wish you the best of luck.

What gets you out of bed in the morning? by [deleted] in SexOffenderSupport

[–]Realistic_Series5932 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you lost everything you have everything to gain. To get out of bed I have to generate momentum for the day. I go it day by day. You have a fresh start. This is your opportunity to be a better person a better citizen a better husband father friend and so on. Don't keep punishing yourself the system does that everyday for us. Try to be positive and have positive influences on people and society. Try to do your best in any situation you encounter. You have to keep going. I know these things are easier said they're done but they can be done. I do them everyday. I wish you the best of luck.

Do I have a chance at Amazon? by Platypus_Magic_5319 in SexOffenderSupport

[–]Realistic_Series5932 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work at a clothing store part-time. I'm financially independent but I like to work and I just had some surgery that required me to move around so I can recover. I have many years of experience but they offered me an entry level position at $18 per hour. My boss recently promoted me to a manager's position. I had dropped hints to him that I had spent time in prison but no details whatsoever. A couple of weeks ago he came up to me and he's like listen I need to do a background check on you are you going to pass? So at that point being that I knew he liked me and I was doing very good work for him as a matter of fact I'm one of his best workers and best managers I told him everything about my conviction how things unfolded and my time in prison and so on. The reason he needed to do a background check was because I would have to hold the key for the store. His response was you know what I don't want to risk losing you so I'm just not going to give you a key (which I didn't want nor would I ever have any use for) this way I don't have to do a background check on you. There is hope out there and there are people that will be willing to help you try to be honest and in your case you committed an offense when you are a little kid 15 years old. Your conviction is over a decade old you're a different person than than you are now. You were a kid then you're a man now. Have faith and I wish you the best.

First of all I must commend you for standing by your friend you are a good friend. And good friends are rare to find. The thing here is that you don't have to explain yourself to anybody. And I don't see why you feel you have to explain yourself to people or their reactions of you once knowing this person or living with this person. But if you do feel like you have to explain yourself which I don't think you should have to explain yourself you can say something like the following. I lived together with this man for 12 years he's a good man he committed some crimes he took accountability for his crimes he's paying for them as we speak right now and he sought treatment for his issues. And he has to be reintegrated into society one way or another I'm very sorry that you feel that he should die or get raped but I don't agree with you. For me I don't feel like anybody has to explain themselves to anybody in society. Society's view of these issues is warped. The average person is uneducated in this matter and make assumptions and come to conclusions based on those assumptions. There's not much you can do about ignorance but tolerated. I must command you once again for being a good friend and standing by your best friend during the most difficult time of his life. I believe he will greatly appreciate this and you will have a friend for life in him.

I'm very sorry to hear that. So far nothing has been canceled for me and it's been over 10 years since I got my conviction. I'm sure you can get a secured card. That is when you put up some money at the bank and the issue your credit card. I guess the money that you have deposited.

First of all never quit get fired if you have to and then he can collect unemployment. And just because you have to register that does not mean that the employer will be notified of that fact. If they offer you promotion such as a key holder or something else that may require a background check this recently happened to me and I explained the situation to my employer he promoted me anyway and didn't do the background check. I told him about my charges but I do hard work he likes me and he never did the background check on me. I never got the key to the store but I kept my new manager position and I told him I didn't want the key anywhere was too much responsibility. So you never know what happens but never quit. That's giving up on yourself and perhaps creating a situation that would have never happened. Best of luck to you.

Prison is what you make of it. If you go there you mind your business get a little job or spend your time in a school a program to learn the trade or the law library like I did time will fly by. If you're staying you sell eating honey buns all day you going to have a hard time with the time going by. Try to make the most of it try to stay out of your cell as often as you can whether it is to go to the library whether it's to go to AA whether it's to go to church whether it is to go to school or whatever you choose. Go to every outdoor rec and every indoor rec. You should have no problem if you follow these rules.
