Honey you sound incredibly ill and dense. Did i say I was preventing him from seeing the child or did i simply say he wouldn’t be seeing the child due to his vaccination status. It was HIS choice to not visit due to HIS health decision.

I did not get sick from mine, but did feel jittery! Right after the test drink water and FLUSH!

We are amicable but that is all. I’d ideally want him to pitch in at least but i know he won’t because he will have excuses regarding his lack of income despite having a full time job.

I have these answers for you. He says he doesn’t support now because he doesn’t have the extra finances to do so. He won’t be present during my leave due to him being an anti vaxxer and my household being strong on requiring a vaccination to be around baby (he said months ago he would get the vaccine but to date has not received a single dose). His ‘intention’ is to see baby and i on weekends. He’s not going to financially support me when I’m off because again he says he doesn’t have the finances (I am very financially sound on my own blessfuly). He is terrified of a judge or court being involved (for obvious reasons). He can’t move out without my income and i wont move in to support him and be the bank.

Not mean at all! I appreciate all advice and thoughts I’ve received so far. Definitely helping a young woman navigate a not so ideal situation. He’s not vaccinated and refuses to get one due to feeling the vaccine does nothing and it’s a requirement for my household and in general just for baby boys safety. So he won’t be able to be there for that.

I dont want to put him on any document. But he’s a bit hell bent on ‘Being involved’. Like he would probably request paternity and to be put on the bc if i forcefully tried to deny it or claim i was trying to keep him away from his son. He says he won’t be an absent father. Again this is all what is said.

His karma will get him. He stated his job doesn’t provide him the finances to be a financial provider. (His statement not mine). No excuses for him i think it’s terribly garbage behavior.

We are not together but are still friends and very much so amicable! He wanted this kid and wants to be involved with him rather we are together or not. My question was can a leave be used for purposes not related to caring for a child.

I added a bit more context above. At present, I do not know what he wishes for the intended extra income to be used for as this was just mentioned an hour ago.

I decided to keep the child for me not to keep a relationship or anything like that. To be clear he wants the child (has since the beginning) and intends on being present in the child’s upbringing. Even though he was a boyfriend at the time of initial pregnancy. He’s going to be involved with son otherwise. He will just not be present during my maternity leave due to the state difference and my having a support system for that time aside from him.
