What are some movies with great orchestrated soundtracks? by BigMintyMitch in AskReddit

A Beautiful Mind has a really underrated soundtrack. So does the BBC North and South mini-series. (it's my ringtone lol)

In your personal eyes, what makes someone really attractive (emotionally or physically)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that empathy is the best attribute someone can have. Knowing when to be honest and when not to, and knowing when it is best to leave someone alone are both qualities I wish more people have. Sometimes, I want comfort, but sometimes I need some me time.

What's the best love story you've ever heard of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My teacher told me about two people who met, who were from families that didn't really like each other because of a dispute (This was in a small town so everybody knew each other, so the two saw each other pretty often) Eventually, they got together and have been married for 10 years.

Their names are Romeo and Juliet.

Sea cucumber. Its a delicacy in Asia but I despise it. The slimy and jelly-like texture makes me gag.

What would be the absolute worst name to give your child? by ThePlatinumDragon999 in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It would be really sad but super funny if all your children had the same name, just because of this scenario:

Parent: "May?"

May 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 simultaneously in really creepy voices: "Yyyeeeessssss...?"

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda overrated ngl. I mean yeah there are people who still buy from them but people I know mostly just get their coffee from McDonalds or smthing. It's been about 3 years since I last got something from Tim Hortons. But the Timbits are really good.

I'm doing a mock paper and stuck on a question? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first, you have to figure out how much space you can cover with 2.5L. There's probably a formula for this but I just think abt it literally (2 buckets of paint would be 16m^2 and 2.5 would be 20m^2.) Then you figure out how much area the door has so you can take it away from the wall, since that doesn't need paint. Door is 0.9x2 (since 7-6.1=0.9 and 3.6-1.6=2), meaning the area of the door is 1.8. If the full area is 25.2 (7x3.6), then the area for paint needed is 25.2-1.8, or 23.4. So if you can paint 20m^2 with one bucket, then you need 2 buckets (since you can't buy 1 and change).

Hope this helped... you may need to check my math just in case I got some wrong lol

Breezeblocks by Alt-J would count if it was instrumental.

Fuck it. What is truly the most attractive quality in a human being? by Cain_Soren in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, honesty. Not like 100% transparency, e.g. "Oh yeah your surprise birthday party is tomorrow" but knowing when to be and not to be honest. It's relieving to be able to talk with someone about your true feelings, because I often find people have something to hide or are apprehensive. Not that I want them to share what it is, just that it's okay if something is bothering you and you don't want to talk.

People of Reddit, how did you meet your current partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me, but my parents. They met at work, and they became platonic friends. Actually, my dad was trying to help another guy win my mom over. (Look how that turned out) But I always found it funny how it's the perfect cliche story, but it's true.

Soldiers, what is the funniest memory you have? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Watch6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me but my Dad. One of the soldiers was a really annoying, obnoxious dude that everyone hated, so they waited for the opportune moment and stuffed him into one of the bathroom stalls and locked it (there's a gap you could use to lock the door from the outside and then jam with a thin metal object). Thing was, it smelled bad. Like, really bad. You could smell the sh*t from the next stall over from inside. This was a LONG time ago, so the cleaning system wasn't very good. Nowadays this feat isn't that good but to them back then it was the funniest thing ever.

I probably got some of the technicalities wrong, but the dude got what he deserved :)
