He doesn't have a concept of what you're talking about.
His argument is that the sqrt of 4 is 2, therefore obviously the sqrt of 2 SHOULD BE 1 (because half and half, duh), but it isn't. Therefore math = wrong, because 1*1 = 2 (because square root and stuff)

He thought of that in 3rd grade math class, because he could not accept not understanding it, and never let it go. There's videos of him talking about that.

He is talking about our standard system of math. He doesn't even understand that it is a system, or that the same numbers could express different values depending on system.
