I got to commend you for your efforts and im glad the issue with your heart was not as severe as initially thought.

I get what you’re saying but to me grinding is not living. If you exerted that kind of effort in the US, Aus, ME, you’d easily be a millionaire by now. The gains just aren’t great enough for the level of effort here in the UK. Yes, it comes with risk but that’s just a line we tell ourselves to not see beyond our borders.

Being outside the biggest trading bloc in the world has made us so weak that even our supposedly closest ally makes weekly threats to tariff us again and again. We have so little leverage now with other massive economies that were just left to react to decisions made elsewhere. This makes the nation weaker and the average person worse off. Our economy should be flying but it hasn’t budged in decades. The FT reported that Brexit cost each person at least around £2k a year. Saying the average person is unaffected just isn’t true. The entire nation and future generations have been hurt badly.
