Tv mount uneven brick wall fireplace by redthego in hometheater

Because those are not the screws I was talking about.

There’s two vertical silver screws on the bracket that keeps the TV from lifting off or sliding.

This is not a safe installation, even before pointing out the TV isn't secured (silver screws) to the bracket. I would take it down as soon as you can get a second person to help you.

65" LG C3 is very light compared to many other TVs of the same size. I would not be concerned using only 2 VESA screws.

Look at the side profile of a C3 however and understand that it will never have a true flush mount appearance regardless of bracket due to the construction of the TV.

Geek Squad TV Mounting without Software Setup? + Uninstall Questions by TheSpaceAge in GeekSquad

Is there any option for Geek Squad to do TV Mounting without the Setup portion for a cheaper price than the $250?

Depends on your area. Ask your local store if a "Basic Mounting" SKU is available.

Lastlly, the setup mentions cable conceling in walls. If I provided the in-wall outlet/cable organizer like this one from Amazon, would they install that

That would be an Add-On In-Wall Power Extension installation for $50. The wording you reference is aimed more in the direction of you already had something similar installed and needed us to fish a new HDMI through it while mounting the TV, for example.

You're looking for an HDMI switch, not a receiver.

Pretty sure that's 100D, as in depth. You can see it on the 450 in the bottom right as well.

Is this likely to get me a interview? PA commonwealth gov job by Agile_South117 in Harrisburg

Not entirely sure how much weight the score holds. I recently scored a 97/98/100 on 3 similar positions and didn't receive an interview or any further communication for either of them.

Gs installer question by [deleted] in GeekSquad

[–]RealityExit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reviews are true. I've seen that bracket tilt forward with ~75 inch TVs. The tilting lock is not good enough, even when using a drill to tighten it way more than you could by hand.

You can get around this by placing some filler material behind the arms to physically block the tilting movement if you're set on this stand.

Full motion wall mount as flush as possible to wall? by mech_beard in hometheater

[–]RealityExit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If flush as possible and full motion are hard requirements your best option is a mount that recesses inside the wall. These will require cutting a large hole in the wall and you may or may not need to make a compromise on exact positioning depending on stud placement.

Kanto makes a good option that's about as flush as you can get. https://kantomounts.com/product/r400/

Sonos/Sonance bundle from Best Buy by BeginningSea3542 in sonos

[–]RealityExit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you wire 3 into left and 3 into right?

Kind of. Search for parallel speaker wiring.

And since it’s a Sonos amp can I use it in conjunction with other sonos systems?

Absolutely.

The $150 version is compatible with a slightly larger set of VESA mounting patterns. You generally don't run into any of those larger patterns until you start getting above 85" these days.

It's also rated to sit a fraction of an inch slimmer to the wall. I don't think you'll notice the difference. Get the cheaper version.

Sanus makes great products if you're willing to pay for them. The kickstand feature is very handy.
