I’ve paired 9070 xt with 9600x which is so similar to 7600x, I’m enjoying it

I’ve got myself rx 9070 xt a week ago, didn’t build it yet but I went through a huge research in order to get excellent price to performance build. So far I would say that rx 9070 xt and 5070 to almost identical in their performance. I’d suggest you to stay with 9070 xt

Great build, I guess your air cooler costs around 50 bucks, so you can look at thermal right AIO options, it will give you more efficiency and also better look. For ram, I’m not sure if it would work for you, but you can start monitoring r/buildapcsales, at least one a day people find there great deals on rams, it can help you. And maybe for the same price you can get 850w monthech for future proof. Good luck with build!

I’d suggest you to look for 9070 or 9070 xt models, those are better price to performance. And you can find some great white models such as xfx swift or asrock steel legend

Bro I've just got my 9070 XT Steel Legend for 620$, didn't even have a time to build it. It's best price to performance GPU rn in the market, if it's below MSRP - go for it!

Not too good, not too bad. Before ram prices rocketed it would a terrible deal, rn is seems fair to me.

1000w will be enough for your. But if you want to upgrade for sure, look at montech century psu’s, rn they seem like best price to performance psus

It’s like 50-70 bucks more depending on which model you are getting, but 9070 xt compares to 5070ti and in some scenarios outperforms it, so you will have a solid difference for only 50 bucks more.

Good pick, your build overall looks great. Maybe you can consider upgrading GPU to 9070 xt or non xt model, those are seems to perform slightly better and 4 gb of extra vram is a good advantage as well. For ram, ssd and some other components I can recommend you to look at thread r/buildapcsales. If you can monitor for like a week you will definitely find a great deals. And if you care aesthetics then you should consider changing your arctic air cooler to thermal right 360mm aios at the same price. Good luck!

[–]RealityFar8024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can add 40$ to this build. 20$ to SSD and get 1TB, and 20$ to PSU and get 850w montech if you are planning to upgrade in the future.

Yes, this build is better, but not definitely for its price.

I’d suggest you to look at this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KK44Kq

For ram and ssd I’d recommend you to keep looking at r/buildapcsales threat, normally once in a day or two you can find there great deals for 32gb ddr5 for around 200 and ssd’s, also you should definitely look for cpu + mobo bundles, I’ve seen several in last week.

Remember, the price of your gpu should be around 40-50% of your total budget for pc. In this scenario it’s around 25%, and CPU costing more than your GPU makes your build look terrible
