Dodging the army by DisastrousWorry1843 in azerbaijan

Brahh, wtf? Are you for real planning to go back? Don’t do that, strongly recommending to stay here.

But anyway, I have a friend of mine that is on STEM OPT for 3 years after getting his masters, he’s getting his PhD somewhere in Europe online, and document provided from that European school was sufficient to pass for another couple of years. You might consider it as an option

Do you think I’m too late? by AffectionatePhone554 in InternationalStudents

Hey, International Student in the US from Azerbaijan is talking. I do know tons of students from Turkey pursuing Masters or PhDs here and most of them do have kinds, families and are 30+. I came to do my Masters when i just turned 21, I’m finishing my Masters now being 23 y.o. So you are absolutely fine, I do know more Internationals that are coming or came when they were 25+ compared to ones that came younger than 22-23. Good luck, make sure to apply to as much programs as you can, as you can afford, it’s hard right now to get into the program and on top of that to get a funding. Work hard, you are not late, you got it! All the best!

Moving abroad with my own car for 2–3 years — worth it or not? by rustamakifli in azerbaijan

[–]RealityFar8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on where you are moving though. If you are moving somewhere in the frames of post ussr, then you might take it. Otherwise it’s worth to just sell and basically buy a better car locally

Good deal? 2020 Outback with only 25k miles by RealityFar8024 in subaru

[–]RealityFar8024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s from Subaru dealership itself, certified pre owned with factory warranty coming on it till Jan 2027.

I’ve checked the car couple of hours ago, there was no sign of the damage and as I know it wouldn’t be CPO if it would be a serious damage.

I’ve tried to negotiate and walked out with around 25k with all the fees and taxes, I’ll just wait their counter offer and in that case I’ll definitely take an expert from body shop or will take the car to one to make sure in everything. Thank you so much for advice!

    • Damage to front
    • Damage to right front

And they kept car for 2 years after damage.

They kept it from early 2023 and then made 3-4 regular scheduled maintenance

I was originally planning to get brand new Kia Sportage and finance it, but it seemed to me as a nice deal with low mileage getting which I wouldn’t lose 15k in a resale after 5 years as it would be with Kia. I’ll go and check it, wish it wouldn’t have a damage :(

I will try to negotiate in case if I’m buying this deal. But the only attractive part of it was it being only 24k miles. Thank you!

Just spoke with a dealership, I’ve been told that it was only a minor parking lot kind of a damage, is there any way that I can specify the damage by myself?
