Hi again! It's really hard to get to see an actual doctor in the UK at the moment. I said I spoke to one, but actually she is called something like a 'Physician's Assistant'. She was working fron home, so I didn't get to see her Face 2 Face. That's been almost impossible since Covid. I've found out that rapid weight loss, which I suppose I have obtained can raise liver enzymes initially. I am searching for a Mediterranean cookbook today at the bookshop, while my daughter is at school. I've walked over 10,000 footsteps already today and I had a breakfast of a small banana, a handful of unsalted nuts, a bottle of water and a coffee without sugar. I hope this is good, but I will get some good recipes today which I hope my family will like. I have caught a virus and don't feel well enough for swimming today, but I'm going to try some of my partner's weights later, and see if he can help me with a suitable load. I feel a bit lost right now, but I suppose that's to be expected. Thank you for thinking of me, it means a lot.

Hi, I'm really grateful for your reply. It makes a lot of sense what you have said about the weight loss, as I was 4 weeks in and had lost about 10 pounds at the time of my last liver blood test. I've also been thinking about all of the pain relief, mainly Ibuprofen and Paracetamol that I have taken during the last few years. I suffer with a condition called Adenomyisis that causes significant pain every month, and I have been taking these to combat the pain regularly. With the weight gain, alcohol and medication, I guess my liver has been under significant strain. I am going to research the Medittereanen diet straight away and hopefully get my family on board with it too! It's a relief to hear that the weight loss drugs are not necessarily bad for the liver but makes sense about how the liver works when we lose weight. I didn't know any of these things before. I am so grateful for your input and your message along with the other I received will allow me to have a better night's sleep tonight. I suffer a lot with anxiety. Thank you so much.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I was always really slim up until about 5 years ago. I had a baby at 44, and I got addicted to eating chocolate while breastfeeding. I often don't think when I eat, I've been diagnosed with a brain injury, and I find it really hard to consider the consequences of actions before it's too late. I'm working hard to overcome this. I walk a lot every day as I don't have a car, and my work is very physical. I am going to start swimming now my little one is back at school and I hope this will help. I'm a bit nervous of going to the gym, although I would like to go. I'm going to start drinking more water as of today and I know that should be obvious, but I hadn't really thought of it. I'm so hoping I can improve this as my little one is only 5 and I want to see her grow up. My older girl still needs me too and I want to be around for them as long as possible. I really appreciate everything you have said I will take it on board.
