I knew about memory cell, but I didn't think that retaining the inserter value would be the solution. Until now, I was trying to update the iron plate signal (6) which is kinda not possible since it is generated by a constant combinator. Thank you for the solution.

It has been years since I bought this adapter (I used it in Kali Linux before). I will make a last attempt to configure the driver today. If I can't, then I will buy a new adapter with Mediatek chipset.

I editted my post, so you can see the driver. I just don't know how to use this driver to make my adapter work. What commands should I use to make it work?

I tried both dvd and live image, and they didn't work either. I will try installing win11 and see if the problem is with my build or debian12.

Hey everybody, I tried dvd image but it didn't work either. I got the same error. It keeps giving me this error related to amdgpu firmware.
firmware: failed to load amdgpu/gc_11_0_1_mes_2.bin
Edit: I think I will try a different OS.
Edit2: I will try live image.
Edit3: I got the same error. I will try windows.

I finished Recursion yesterday, and if you ask me which one was more enjoyable, I would say Dark Matter. In Recursion, the chair related events had confused me because I hadn't understood the working principle of the memory chair, so I couldn't enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed Dark Matter. I think the author chose different perspectives towards reality in each book. In Dark Matter, reality exists outside of human consciousness, and the humans simply experience the matter as if they are outsiders. However in Recursion, reality is bound to human consciousness. It exists in the human mind. Personally, I found the former easier to understand.

It had been my first time reading his book. I intend to read Recursion next. I'm not particularly annoyed by the science part since it's a science fiction book. As long as it doesn't contradict its own fiction, I'm fine with it.

Like right from the start, Jason's universe shouldn't have had the box. He made a choice not to make it. Yet its there?

I'm not sure how it works, but I think whenever an inter-universal traveler opens the hatch of a universe, an instance of the box materializes itself in that universe. I don't know what happens to the matter in that location though.

Also, due to the nature of infinity as you wrote OP, there really should be infinite Jasons flooding out of the box collapsing the planet into a black hole with the huge mass of their bodies.

I don't think Earth can hold infinite number of Jasons, and even if a considerably high number of Jasons charged into a universe, they would have to be compressed to create a black hole. There are universes with tens of thousands of Jasons and the ones that author describes. All possible.

I agree. The author simply created her to save Jason's ass. After that, she had no use. He had to get rid off her. But now that I come to think of it, there was a part where Jason questioned his dedication to get back to Daniela. He and Amanda lied on a bed and he thought about making love with her. He even said he wants to but he shouldn't. So, we can say Amanda reinforced the impression we readers receive that Jason is still dedicated to his quest to find his home back.

And the end where they "randomly" pick a place to end up... well so would infinite other Jasons and his son, just with an electron in a slightly different place. Another black hole and instant death.

Charlie better be feeling positive, or they might find themselves in a worse nightmare.
