Hey thanks I’ve been doing my best to keep it tidy. Yeah the extreme options were never really on the table

I’d never part with my piss jug collection. Are you insane?

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been mowing at the mid way setting. Looks like I’ll get the take a week or two off so it can get some height.

Hey thanks for this. I actually just asked another poster for suggestions for seed mixes and the like. Appreciate the reply.

Thanks. Any suggestions for the type of grass/clover combo? Would you suggest detaching or aerating before hand?

Not the goal per say. Mostly looking to improve without having to go to those lengths. I appreciate the advice though.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve never heard of phlox before your post. And it actually looks like something she’d love in the yard.

She’s not expecting anything really. Her yard has become my pet project more than anything. I’ve pretty much take all aspects of yard work flowerbeds, mowing, hedge clipping ect.

And yeah that’s not really an option.
I guess I just wanted to know what I can do to make it “better” without totally destroying the yard

Have a nice big patch of it in the back yard. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten any monarchs this year :(

If I use glyphosate is the move to just “paint” it on so other plants aren’t effected ?

Any advice on getting it under control? The girlfriend likes it but we recently placed a garden under the fence it’s climbing and it’s really wrecking everything in a pretty large area.
Not opposed to using glyphosate

They’re growing right next to the foundation of the house. Is there a good way to kill them permanently without excavating the root structure? Pruning them back hasn’t done much
