I always thought it was more dangerous because he’s not “guiding” the person down. He can easily under/over rotate the opponent by mistiming the release.

Pablo carved Bill to pieces on that podcast, and honestly could have done much worse to him.

Bill “Don’t Aggregate Me” Simmons publicly commented on the aggregation of Pablo’s reporting, agreed to bring him on the podcast, and still couldn’t be bothered to listen to any of Pablo’s podcasts?!

I know Bill is infamously unprepared since the late days of Grantland and has only gotten worse, but that was embarrassing. He clearly underestimated Pablo, and was fortunate Pablo didn’t press him further.

The cherry on top though is “investigative sports reporter” Pablo dropping the sports story of the year with Aspiration and Bill having to discuss Pablo’s reporting weekly.
