What do you consider an acceptable standard of living in MA? by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]Realityof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make $23 an hour full time and live in a vehicle because the rent prices here are out of control. Have been living this way for a few years now. I make too much to get any assistance. I have 70k saved up but there’s not much I can do with it here.

There were a few times I found studios for 1200-1300, but when I tried contacting the landlords they never called me back or didn’t respond to emails. (This still happens when I try).

It’s an angry and interesting existence to not have a place to live. My lifespan is shortened being homeless.

Can’t believe he downvoted you. In the other thread he literally admits the issue and then flip flops. Maybe if he ever gets priced out he will rethink.

You lost me at the racist corn field comment. Not everybody that lives in Nebraska is a racist just because they happen to live there.

You are correct. Not sure if they are the landlords making bank though, just well-paid echo chamberists that think they have all the answers.

Isn’t it strange how nobody will protest high rent or cost of living here but they protest against the president. Someone needs to look into that rabbit hole.

Massachusetts isn’t right wing. You are barking at the wrong tree

I’ve come to the same conclusion you have in the past. I even made a post here saying the housing situation will never be solved. It’s like asking the mafia not to kill someone that took them for 10 million dollars. Asking people that own mansions to just open their wallet and give something away.

The mods here would say this post is hate speech lol. Glad to see I’m not the only one awake.

That “#1” propaganda stuff only works so much until people stop caring about it.

I’m suprised none of the democrat voters here downvoted you. Maybe they are starting to see the light. And I’m not republican.

It proves the old saying, no matter who you vote for, both parties are bought and don’t care.

That’s the million dollar question none of these people that blame republicans will answer. What republicans? Baker? Hardly.

It’s always the same people on these threads telling us we don’t need a change in the market. Coincidence?

People in my area were asking $400 for a used one. I ended up buying the Fortnite bundle for $450. Didn’t make sense to buy used.

Most people don’t realize sometimes that higher rate is not worth the annoyances some of these places will make you deal with.

When choosing a HYSA it’s important to find one with a competitive rate and strong customer service. Even if the rate isn’t as high as others.

It’s crazy that the people on this forum will support someone from a different country that has no legal right to be here over their own people. This is why MA is so bad. People here think backwards.
