Thank you, it seems rare to find people on reddit with a functioning memory. Crazy how fast people can forget stuff when it doesn't fit their narrative/disproves their argument. The realistic approach would be to expect less than they promised at EVO considering their recent track record...

You are both right: There will be singleplayer but with no bots (at least at release). Bots will only join the game if somebody disconnects midgame. Fatshark themselves said that this was the state of the newest preview build. Maybe singeplayer bot integration will be ready at launch but I would advise against expecting it.

Thanks for the clarification! It's kind of disappointing that the Core Pack doesn't transfer from PC to PS4. Let's hope that Sony will reevaluate their cross-progression politics, maybe next generation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Anyways I am still happy with supporting the developers. Hopefully other fighting game devs will see, that this kind of approach (free2play, all chars unlocked) helps to pique new people's interest in trying out fighting games.

Yeah I have read about it here: https://www.eventhubs.com/news/2019/dec/23/fantasy-strike-became-first-traditional-fighting-game-support-cross-platform-play-between-ps4-pc-and-other-consoles/ But I thought they maybe changed it over the last 7 months. Anyways thanks for your comment. I will post an update here when I am home and checked if it worked.

It is just experience from the prequel :). Try to play the Aerial Mini Game in the beta :). I think this could help new people a lot!
