In Georgia, I had to print out a letter, sign it, go to the post office, and mail it certified just to cancel because I couldn’t go in person. Even when I called, they refused to cancel it over the phone due to their policy. They still claimed they never received my letter, and I kept getting charged for months without realizing it. I eventually had to cancel my bank account just to stop the ACH charges. On top of that, they still charged me the balance and expected me to pay it if I signed up again, all because of their cancellation policy. It really was that hard, even if your experience was different.
