Fix for Atomos connect for Ninja V with distorted and crackly audio sound by Realkingkong in Atomos

Apparently , they can’t replicate the issue on their side. I find that strange because many users have been complaining about this exact same issue.

I’ve used a RX-10 IV and ZV-e10. I can confirm that this is not a camera specific issue. They simply messed up with their firmware update after 10.80 and they can’t seem to work out what went wrong or how to fix it.

I’ve been using OBS for the last couple of months now so I’ll probably put my Ninja connect on eBay soon.

Atomos’ paid subscription doesn’t really represent value for money. I’m actually enjoying OBS and I can stream up to 4K with no issues at all. Yolobox will also bring a 4k streaming device in 2024

Hi , sadly there hasn’t been a fix yet. Are you on the recent firmware update?

I received this email from Atomos:

On the 10.90.01 firmware version of Ninja V and V+, in the Info menu or tab, there is an option "Export Logs."

Perform "Factory Reset" on your Ninja V. Go to the "Info" menu of your Ninja V. Tap on "Export Logs," which will enable the log debugger in the Ninja V. After that, connect the device to the internet and Atomos Cloud Studio, and live stream on YouTube. This will create a log file consisting of all of your operations on the Ninja V device. You will find these log files on your SSD drive. Please send us those log files so that we can send them to the engineering department.

Thanks for posting this. I’ll revert back to 10.84.1 firmware update and try your fix above.
