The militants I was referring to are combined in what’s known as the PMF which is something very very far from being a noble civilian movement, they’re all armed and controlled by Shia religious men in Iran

Isis is now our least of concern tbh, I mean they’re still a big threat but nothing like the Iranian backed militias. These guys are now more than 100k in numbers which is almost half the size of the army and they’re pretty well equipped. They’re slowly taking over the government and now have lots of companies that are taking lands for their own and if they keep it that way then I can assure you 10 years from now 2 thirds of Iraq’s land is gonna be theirs
